Earthquakes do not create faults—they reveal them. Crises do not create character—they reveal it. The psalmist could pray, “Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget your law” (Ps 119:61). Can you say the same?

“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts” (Marcus Aurelius), so pray: “Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways” (Ps 119:37). You cannot focus on “worthless things” and God’s “ways” at the same time. Choose wisely.

As we get older, we regret what we *didn't* do much more than what we did.
Over time, regrets of inaction easily outnumber regrets of action.
The lesson for 2023?
Start that business. Write that novel. Ask out that crush. Take your shot.
Once again, HEB for the win! Good news @dougsheffield 🎉
Way to go, Farmers!

I love this💙 Kudos Mr. Campbell!
To celebrate Substitute Educators Day we sat down with LLC sub Mr. John Campbell. After a 50 year career the 75-year-old decided 'why not' teach some of the lessons he's learned to LISD students.
Read it here: bit.ly/3UQPnQh. Happy Substitute Educators Day! 💙

Be kind. Say thank you. Hold the door open. Compliment as many people as you can. Point out the good and be the good. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Love, serve and care. The world needs more of this today (and every day)!
