I hade a 66 Mk2 but it was Stage 2 tuned. With a sporty exhaust when I bought it in 1979, from a friend. It was pristine too. Great little car. I migrated to an MGB for a while then a Vitesse Convertible for 4 seats and more refinement. I loved Triumphs, I also had a Mk1 2000 while my brother had a TR6. We always had Triumphs in the family. Even a Renown tucked away somewhere. A couple of 2.5 PI and a 2000 with a 2.5 power unit with twin Carbs. We rebuilt a couple of engines too. It was fun and educational. – at Knebworth, England
