Joao Pedro has already reached the stage at Chelsea when they cannot function without him and the risk of rushing him back from injury is high. We know Palmer and Rogers aren't great without him and we're not sure Welbeck is good enough cover. January backup loading ⌛️

If we play this right Barcola should destroy them but let’s see how the game pans out. That aggressive man for man pressing Brighton do is effective but once you reach the halfway line and you have a running freak in Barcola then the outcome can be devastating. One pass = 1v1

At one stage I was preparing the team for 5 midfielders and killing the 3rd striker spot but the cheap forwards have other plans. Shopping this week and if Joao Pedro does need an operation I’ll be buying 2 forwards 😉

The impact of no Mohamed Salah is unreal. We don’t have another captain in FPL. It’s always scary going against Haaland but the couple times people have tried they’ve been fried as unfortunately Palmer, Saka, Bruno, etc have been rubbish.

Last night I had to make a transfer decision as Gonzalo was dropping by 0.1 and Jackson was going up by 0.1. But with the Pedro injury and the injuries we likely pick up today I decided to leave it and wait until the midweek games. Means my team value is doomed

I was confident in a spurs performance yesterday. Watching Spurs vs United and Coventry games I finally saw glimpses of a De Zerbi team starting to materialise. Add to it this Chelsea team is far from being a team and mainly relying on that front 3 to bail them out.
