I wanted to try doing my own interpretation/redesign of them because I feel there was a lot of missed potential with their designs

Usually not a hater of newer animated movies like this but the character design is soooo bad im sorry 😭 the mom character specifically drives me insane everytime i see it

i should say, the way they figured out on how the toons in this movie could interact with the real life objects wasn't revolutionary but how it was executed was creative and believable at best. they really did EVERYTHING in this movie and I admire the dedication

The realistic shadows of the lamp on Roger has led to a term that was coined by the Disney parks and later made its way into greater customer service culture - “bumping the lamp” is going the extra mile even if not everyone will take note of it to show your commitment to quality

a small detail i love in this movie is the light passing through roger’s ears they really thought of everything
