Hate this for Watson who has already had shoulder issues. @JaylenWatson12 has been a favorite of mine since covering his draft presser in 2022.
Because of snap counts, KC will probably now see K Walker cancel a 4th round comp pick for Watson and get a 5th for B Cook
Maybe Mevis can play LT
The #Chiefs worked out three kickers and kept both Justin Tucker and Harrison Mevis around all day, giving them both physicals after similarly impressive workouts. In the end, with the experience and resume, Tucker gets the PS spot.
Chiefs like to have 5 healthy RBs in house. If Demercado clears waivers, I wonder if we see him on KC’s practice squad later in the week.

White on white and Seatle doing throwbacks? Marty is smiling down on us somewhere
So are all the people who insisted they didn't want to watch the Dodgers watching Rays and Brewers?
(I am and looking forward to what should be a great series)
This should be a lose a high draft pick violation of player safety
Jalen Hurts was told by doctors not to sleep after his initial diagnosis of a superficial blood clot while in London.
Hurts stayed awake for roughly 36 hours before starting against the Jaguars.
(per @TomPelissero)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Tom Pelissero, the source cited, later clarified after speaking to Jalen Hurts' agent that Hurts was able to sleep after hospital evaluation and felt rested to play.

I assume Downs is readily available and could put up monster numbers with KC.
But if the hope is that Cyrus Allen becomes a cheap starting WR from 2027-29, Downs is exactly the type of player you are looking.
Kind of an ‘already have that at home’ fit to me
Leading the league in rushing when most players have had one more game than Walker has.
Kenneth Walker III has 665 Rush yards this season, the most in NFL history in a player's first five games with a team!
How is Walker doing it? Yards after contact! He has 369 rushing yards after contact this season! 3 of his top 5 regular season career rush yards after contact have come this season! 💪

Bo Nix has the shortest name in NFL history (5 Letters).
It is still longer than his ADOT (4.9)

The Chiefs' defense has allowed fewer than 120 rushing yards and forced at least one turnover in all five games
That's a winning recipe
Maybe Jerry Jeudy is less available after Cleveland just went to him on maybe their most important play of the season.
I don't really think the WR rotation is going to mean much for KC on Sunday because the combination of no Rashee Rice and no Derwin James probably equals a monster game for Travis Kelce.
