2,932 RAPE CASES ENTERED THE CROWN COURT IN JUST SIX MONTHS
Between January and June 2026, 2,932 new rape cases entered the Crown Court in England and Wales.
Behind every one of those cases is a human being. For victims and survivors, this isn’t simply a number appearing in a Ministry of Justice spreadsheet. It can mean months or even years of uncertainty while they wait for their case to be dealt with.
And the problem isn’t just the number of new cases entering the system. The Crown Court backlog is continuing to grow.
By the end of June, the figures showed:
🔺 80,829 cases open in the Crown Court, a series record.
🔺 16,089 sexual-offence cases in the Crown Court backlog, 22% higher than a year earlier.
🔺 Open rape cases were up 26% year-on-year.
🔺 23,706 Crown Court cases had been open for a year or more, another series record.
🔺 The median age of an open Crown Court case had reached 203 days, compared with 168 days a year earlier.
The rape figures themselves are particularly striking.
Between January and March 2026, 1,416 new rape cases were entering the Crown Court.
Between April and June 2026, there were another 1,516.
That gives us 2,932 new rape cases during the first six months of 2026, with the April–June figure reaching a series peak.
Compared with April–June 2025:
🔺 Child rape cases were up 10%.
🔺 Adult rape cases were up 19%.
Then there is another part of the court system that deserves attention.
During the first six months of 2026, 400 trials could not go ahead as planned because an interpreter was unavailable. That represented 3% of all ineffective trials across the magistrates’ courts and Crown Court.
The Ministry of Justice does not say those 400 trials were rape cases, or that interpreters caused 3% of the rape backlog. But 400 trials could not proceed because an interpreter was unavailable.
Make of that what you will.
The government has now announced specialist rape courtrooms across England and Wales, with measures intended to reduce delays and improve the experience for victims.
Close the borders. We see the daily reports we see what you've done. Specialist courts would not be needed if you just put women's and children's safety first.
The next set of criminal court figures, covering July to September 2026, is due to be released on:

That will give us the next picture of whether the Crown Court backlog, sexual-offence backlog and rape figures are beginning to fall, or whether they are continuing to grow.

This so called "man" likes to pretend to everyone on X that he cares about victims of abuse. Women that have escaped violence and r@pe and he apparently champions them to make new lives for themselves and move on from the trauma they have suffered.
He then goes into spaces and refers to not just me, a victim of domestic abuse of the worst possible kind, but also my children and calls us whores!!!
I am a whore apparently because I escaped abuse and married my amazing husband and went on to have other children. Not 4 kids to 4 different baby daddys Radler.
But a women who escaped an psychopath abusive monster and made a life for myself.
What a champion of women 🙄
I wonder if the parents of the children you run that roller disco for know what kind of a person you are?

In recent months, the Americans, French, Germans, and Israelis - our so-called “allies” - have either cast doubt on our sovereignty over the Falkland Islands or moved towards supplying weapons to Argentina, a country that continues to claim British territory as its own.
President Trump has openly discussed reviewing America's position on the Falklands. French and German defence firms have offered Argentina new submarines, while Israel has already signed an agreement to supply its armed forces with weapons.
What is our government doing in response?
Nothing.
We may not be the global superpower we once were, but we still have tremendous leverage over all of these countries and we should not be afraid of using it.
And I don’t mean sending strongly-worded letters or summoning ambassadors.
The government has already negotiated surrender deals over Chagos and Gibraltar. If we continue to allow our territorial integrity to be questioned without consequence, we will lose all of our overseas territories and be left even more globally irrelevant than we already are.

Restore Britain is an unashamedly pro-shooting party.
It is a vital part of rural Britain, helping supply British game to local butchers, restaurants, pubs and households.
It supports gamekeepers, farmers, rural businesses, food processors, hospitality jobs and more. It pumps millions and millions into parts of rural Britain that are entirely forgotten by Westminster - very often at times of the year when otherwise local businesses would perish.
We want to see more British game on dinner tables, at home but also across the public sector. Let’s serve more game in our schools, hospitals and other public sector institutions.
Why not? Rather than importing cheap meat from the other side of the planet.

Why should Britain be expected to defend Israel's national interests if Israel's leadership refuses to respect ours?
Britain is not obliged to give any foreign government unconditional political or military support.
Our foreign policy should be guided by British interests, and British interests only - that is the Restore Britain position.
The Falkland Islands are British, and will remain British.
