Warning: Please be aware of where the meat you're buying is coming from. We've been using a local butcher for several years and have never had any issues with the quality or taste of the meat we buy. That all changed last night when my husband decided to throw 2 filets on the grill. The meat looked the same, but once he started touching it, it felt almost like rubber. He called me over to touch it and see if it felt different for me too, and it did. It didn't smell bad, and since we spent a pretty penny on these steaks, he decided to cook them and see if they tasted OK. Maybe we just received a bad cut, but like I said, we've been using this same butcher for many years, and the owner knows us well. So, the steaks are done, and my husband cuts into his and takes a small bite and then proceeds to immediately grab a napkin and spit it out. I said, "That bad?!" He said it tasted like rubber and wasn't edible. I tried a small bite of mine, and yep, he was right. It tasted like rubber. I'm not talking about chewy steaks; it literally tasted like rubber. That has never happened to us regardless of where we bought the steaks from. I was actually upset and didn't immediately think, "I wonder if the cows were injected with something." I wanted our money back, and since we both know the owner well, I thought it wouldn't be a huge deal to get a refund or 2 new cuts. So, I take a drive up there with the steaks wrapped up to show the owner. When I get there, I explain how the steaks just don’t taste right and could we get a refund. We're not the type to complain or ask for refunds, but these steaks were inedible, and the cost was worth it to make the drive and at least ask. He proceeds to look at the steaks and says, "They look fine to me, but how about 2 new filets? I'll go cut them fresh right now for you." At first I was going to say YES! That would be fantastic, but then , for some reason, all those news stories and stories from farmers about being pushed to inject their livestock with mRNA popped into my head, and I said, "Can I ask you something? Are your cows being injected with mRNA? I know several farmers have talked about this, and I wonder if that is why the meat tasted so bad. In my head I'm thinking he's going to think I'm crazy for asking if his cows are injected with mRNA, but I didn't care because if it's happening, I deserve to know what's in my meat. He smiles and says, "Actually yes, we just started injecting them about 3 weeks ago as ordered by the health department." I was shocked, but not really? I knew this was happening, but I just didn't think local small businesses were being ordered to inject their animals with this horrific "vaccine." 😢 We talked some more about it, and because he works 12-hour days and doesn't get online much, he had no idea that it was a big deal or anything to be concerned about! By the time I left, he was fully informed and ready to fight back against this forced injection of his animals. He did tell me that once he began injecting his livestock, several fell ill immediately following the injection, and 2 died. But of course he didn't connect the dots. I can only imagine what is being put into supermarket meat or Walmart! I bet it's even worse. Is anyone else noticing that meat feels and tastes different?
