You could argue the leveraged buy out and then n hindsight you’d be right, but at the time he seemed a decent bloke who had good intentions. In the last five years he’s proven himself to be incompetent, a dictator, and know absolutely nothing about football, so it’s hardly a surprise those who originally backed him have now turned their back. It would look worse if those who originally backed him were just burying their head in the sand and ignoring all the new evidence.
