United failing to replace Carrick when they planned to this week confirms two things: 1) INEOS are painfully out of their depth and have been exposed for a lack of planning again. 2) Just how unattractive this job has become. It’s guaranteed failure. We’re doomed either way.

Don’t lie to yourselves by thinking United are “backing” Carrick. If they believed in Carrick, they’d not have botched the summer. They’d not have given him just a two-year deal… with a BREAK CLAUSE in it. Carrick is still manager because they have no idea what they’re doing.

This is the problem with having 6+ main voices making decisions. You are NEVER going to be aligned. Conte, Nagelsmann & Howe are right there for the taking, and you’re telling me United aren’t convinced by any option? Just tell us you have no idea what you’re doing. Disgrace.

Carrick is staying on but let’s be honest, it’s a stay of execution. When the idiots in charge finally decide on a new head coach, they MUST go with Carrick. Another level of unacceptable how this has been allowed to continue.

Laurie Whitwell: “I anticipate Michael Carrick will take training tomorrow.” We are an absolute embarrassment of a football club. Another three points thrown down the drain on Saturday. Nice one.

Only other reason I can imagine Carrick confirmation is delayed (other than the clowns making the decision) would be he’s getting the Ole treatment. Sit down interview or something to accompany the news, given his status. Morning more likely than tonight now, it feels.

Whatever it is, United better have the new manager sorted before the weekend. No one wants to see Darren Fletcher manage this team again at Chelsea.

Jim Ratcliffe & INEOS are now trying to sell Lausanne-Sport, as well as Nice. So let’s get this straight. The fate of MANCHESTER UNITED is in the hands of a man/group who have run two smaller clubs in non-competitive leagues into the ground. And the Glazers. We’re fucked.

The fact that United haven’t dismissed Carrick yet says it all about those making the decision. Can smell the incompetence from here.

Gary Neville confirming that this United squad has become just as toxic and unprofessional as the rest post-2013. 😵‍💫 Drop the names G Nev…

Proper fuckin’ fans. That sharp change of noise as soon as Carras disappears... Beautiful. Hope they all felt rank.
The love and respect we have for @carras16 is unquestionable. He understands this club, what it means to the supporters and what wearing that shirt demands ❤️👊🏼 But I fear the people running Manchester United will destroy him. Under the Glazers and INEOS, another man who loves this club could be left carrying the blame for problems he didn’t create, with nowhere near the support he deserves ⚠️ This club deserves better. The supporters deserve better!

Since 2005 Premier League clubs have had a total interest cost on borrowings and financial debt of £3.5bn. One club and one set of owners is responsible for 35% of the total. #Glazernomics Figures per @valuball

Carrick gone, then. Let’s be honest, any manager United appoint is sacked in the next two years. So it’s hard to get totally invested. With that in mind, should we go for the bigger risk (Nagelsmann) over the safer pick (Howe)? Or throw a grenade into the dressing room (Conte)?
