Everyone is obsessed with followers.
I'm obsessed with mutuals.
Most traders think they need 100,000 followers to grow on X.
They don't.
What they need is 100-1,000 people who genuinely engage.
Here's why 👇
The X algorithm doesn't care how many followers you have.
It cares about how people react to your content.
If 1,000 people follow you but nobody engages, your reach dies.
If 100 people consistently:
• Like your posts
• Reply thoughtfully
• Repost your best content
• Join conversations
Your account becomes impossible to ignore.
Think about it:
100 active mutuals who each have 1,000 followers expose you to 100,000 people.
1,000 active mutuals can expose you to millions.
That's how small accounts become big accounts.
Not through luck.
Not through buying followers.
Not through engagement pods.
Through relationships.
The biggest mistake traders make is spending 90% of their time posting and 10% networking.
The reality?
In the early stages, it should be the opposite.
Spend your time:
→ Replying to quality traders
→ Supporting smaller creators
→ Building genuine friendships
→ Joining Spaces
