Seven years ago today, a wildfire sparked in Butte County and quickly grew into the Camp Fire—the deadliest wildfire in California’s history. Eighty-five lives were lost. More than 18,800 homes, schools, and businesses were destroyed, and entire neighborhoods were forever changed in a matter of hours. Today, we pause to remember those who lost their lives, the families who carry their memories forward, and the communities that continue to rebuild with strength and resilience. As we look back, we also look ahead with a shared responsibility to learn from the past and continue working to prevent such devastation from happening again. INTO THE FIRE looks back at the first hours of the Camp Fire, capturing the intensity of the response and the strength shown in the face of devastation. Lawsuit abuse in California is out of control — small businesses, workers, and consumers are often caught in the middle. Have you been taken advantage of by a personal injury lawyer? Tell your story:

If you think these fires are all started and fueled by “climate change,” your opinion is factually incorrect. Humans are the cause of these fires. Whether intentionally or negligently, is what we will find out eventually. We will all pay in one way or another, sadly.
🚨 BREAKING NOW: A new fire has just EXPLODED in the Hollywood Hills.

Today we are announcing the arrest of 29-year-old Jonathan Rinderknecht on a criminal complaint charging him with maliciously starting what became the Palisades Fire in January.
The complaint alleges that Rinderknecht's started a fire in Pacific Palisades on New Year's Day -- a blaze that eventually turned into one of the most destructive fires in Los Angeles history, causing death and widespread destruction. Among the evidence that was collected from his digital devices was an image he generated on ChatGPT depicting a burning city.
While we cannot undo the damage and destruction that was done, we hope his arrest and the charges against him bring some measure of justice to the victims of this horrific tragedy. Rinderknecht's initial appearance is scheduled for today at 1:30 p.m. EDT in U.S. District Court in Orlando. Rinderknecht is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

🚫🔥 One spark is all it takes. Every year, wildfires start from everyday activities. #CALFIRE is asking everyone to do their part: • Never park on dry grass • Secure tow chains • Use equipment like lawn mowers and weed whackers before 10 a.m.—never on hot, windy days • Follow campfire rules and bans One less spark means one less wildfire. Be safe. Be fire smart. 🔗🔗 ReadyForWildfire.org #OneLessSpark #WildfirePrevention #FireSafety

These fires are easily avoidable, but nonsense regulations in California prevent action being taken, so year after year homes burn down and more people die
Trump said the federal government should not be paying emergency wildfire aid while California is refusing to do controlled burns and clean up forests in the name of environmentalism

NEW: Driver backs up into a car to make it look like they had been rear-ended, passengers get out and act like their necks were injured. Insanity. The incident happened in Queens, New York, and gets even more insane. According to the driver, there was a red KIA that was driving behind her at a safe distance. "The silver Honda was in the middle lane, and they cut me off and slammed on the brakes coming to a full stop hoping I would hit them," the woman Ashpia Natasha said on TT. "I did not hit their car and because of that they reversed into my car for collision and acted as if they were injured while coming out of their vehicle." "I believe the intention was to say I hit their car for insurance fraud purposes. They had a tarp covering the rear windshield which fell off once they hit my car." "You can see the driver is a male wearing a hat and you can see him switching to the passenger seat as well as the movement of the car before anyone gets out." "The first three passengers exit the car pretending to be hurt, while the fourth passenger who was driving slips out through the passenger seat and gets into a second vehicle." "That second vehicle was a red KIA which was following me from behind and keeping its distance so they wouldn't slam into me." "The red KIA drove around and picked up the driver to get away. The remaining three people's demeanor changed once one of them noticed the dashcam." "They only came out of the car with their phones ready to record the damage to both cars." "They were quick to ask for my insurance and quickly left after the exchange." "I called the police at the time of the incident and reported it as an accident, and the police told me they no longer go to an accident if no one is injured..." "I did not realize at the time that the driver switched and left in another car or that it was a set-up as I was driving by myself." Video: ashpianatash4 on TT
