However, as we had expected, not many people got the opportunity to speak openly. Nevertheless, we have conveyed our demands to him, and they are being discussed. Some matters need to be resolved today... We had a total of five demands..."

It is entirely unacceptable for an officer of ACP rank, like Manasvi Sharma, to disregard the chain of command. His transfer was ordered after video evidence showed him placing his pistol on a desk during a meeting with protesting lawyers at the police station. Staging a demonstration outside the Delhi Police Headquarters after being transferred and calling lawyers 'goons and impostors' is blatant defamation that demands legal accountability. No one is above the law, and if an officer finds himself in court, he will ultimately need a lawyer to defend him.
