The United States offered a historic path to peace in Western Sahara. It would have ended what the UN calls a “genuinely, truly inhumane” situation for the Sahrawi refugees in the Tindouf camps and advanced the political process. Eleven members of the UN Security Council agreed. President Trump believes an urgently needed solution will not only bring peace to the region but prosperity and greater integration for all of Africa. This dispute must end now, and the United States will continue to drive progress toward that end.

🔴 El Frente POLISARIO ha advetrido contra cualquier medida del Estado ocupante marroquí que pueda poner en peligro el proceso de paz auspiciado por Naciones Unidas en el Sáhara Occidental y el mandato de la MINURSO, y le responsabiliza plenamente de las graves consecuencias para la paz y la seguridad regionales.
