Eventually, I do believe the jersey that struttin’ stormy is wearing will be worn, perhaps in a special edition stadium game.

I’ve seen a lot of people liken this to Rantanen and I think it’s much different. Rantanen already had a massive contract coming his way, no real incentive to earn anything more than what he got. Nikishin is playing for a huge payday. Going to have a big chip on his shoulder.
I’m almost curious if Nikishin has more value at the deadline. Someone would pay a ransom to have him at 3 mil for the rest of the year plus have the opportunity to sign him long term.
