It’s not often that someone can pinpoint two moments in their life that so clearly impacted them in both their personal & career path the way @packers safety Jonathan Owens can.
1. He takes us back to the day his @missouriwestern Coaches called him to the office to break the tragic news that his step father was shot & killed in a robbery. His mother has a disability & depending on J.O’s stepfather to get around. @jjowens_3 knew at that moment it was on him to change their circumstances.
2. Was his interception of Justin Herbert late in the 2021 season while with the @houstontexans . @justinqreid missed a game which allowed J.O. to get his first start & when Reid returned the other safety went down. J.O. to take over the other starting role. Everything was perfect. He was mic’d up. His mom and Simone next to one another in the stands, & in slow motion he seized the opportunity picking of the corner-post throw from the young talented QB.
