In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

The statue of Prometheus is finally finished. It was cast in Paris, crossed the Atlantic, and was assembled at Starbase. It took us 100 days to go from nothing to this. People of the West, we have lived through an era devoid of dreams, devoid of destiny. But the time has come to reclaim our dream of antiquity. In a few months, we will start building a new city. It will be the most magnificent city in all of history. After all, the great dream of the West has always been to rebuild Rome. Come walk beside us in this endeavor. The world is waiting.

β€œThe highest form of peace is having no desire to be seen, validated or understood by anyone.” - Epictetus Epictetus (c. 50–135 CE) was a Greek Stoic philosopher born into slavery in the Roman Empire. After gaining his freedom, he became one of Stoicism’s most influential teachers, arguing that true freedom comes from mastering your own mind rather than controlling your circumstances. Although Epictetus wrote nothing himself, his teachings were recorded by his student Arrian in the Discourses and Enchiridion. He taught that we should focus on what lies within our controlβ€”our thoughts, choices, and characterβ€”and meet everything else with acceptance and resilience. His ideas influenced generations of thinkers, from Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius to modern psychology, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy. This is the future home of 10 million Tesla Optimus robots a year at Giga Texas. It’s basically one gigantic money printer lol
Wondering what the new Optimus Factory at Giga Texas looks like & where this is located/how big it is compared to the rest of the site? Here’s a short video clip showing a high altitude view along with lower more detailed views too. The final length of the building is beginning to emerge, with the S perimeter beam and what appears to be the beveled corners being graded out. The main steel structure is now 16 column grids long, which is about 720 feet or ~ 219 meters long so far and growing!

Such an interesting finding. Men (and women) with 2-3 children had better cognitive function and a younger estimated brain age than their childless peers. Why might that be? Healthier daily habits (e.g., less-frequent alcohol/tobacco use and more regular meal times), connection to broader social and community activities, or even the fact that children act as a longer-term support network later in life are all potential explanations.
Having kids is neuroprotective. β€œMen with two children had an estimated brain age that was 0.6 years younger than their childless peers had, and for men with three children, it was 0.7 years younger. That’s similar to the brain benefit associated with exercising 2.5 hours a week.” β€” @robkhenderson

I used my 17” telescope in dark Texas skies to capture this: A star much like ours as it dies. You can see the core of the star left behind in the center of the expanding shell. Any planets that were around this star have been destroyed.
