I'm leading 44 Members in a letter to @CommerceGov requesting a 2030 Census that counts ONLY U.S. citizens for apportionment and eliminates the unnecessary questions on race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. The sole constitutional purpose of the Census is to count citizens for congressional apportionment.

Attorney General Labrador has defended our state's laws at the highest level, returned millions to our state via settlements, and aggressively prosecuted criminals who prey on children. On November 3, vote Raúl Labrador for Attorney General!

Supporting our service members and caring for military families are essential to sustaining a ready and capable force. I’m asking the Air Force to review housing boundaries for Mountain Home Air Force Base to best accommodate our Airmen and ease housing pressures.

Maybe Lamar Washington needs to file in Boise.
Follow up from the hearing I went to yesterday: Judge Nye has granted four Boise State track-and-field athletes a TRO and preliminary injunction, allowing them to compete this season, including tomorrow's Pac-12 cross country championship to be held here in Boise.

Republican lawmakers are eyeing a little-known congressional maneuver that could block Democratic Socialists of America members from being sworn into the House — even if they win their elections next week. The move hinges on the oath of office. Lawmaker-elects must swear to uphold the Constitution before taking their seat. But under this procedure, any member-elect can challenge another's right to be sworn in by presenting evidence that person would not honor that oath. The DSA's own platform, which calls for scrapping the current Constitution and drafting a new one, could serve as that evidence. Rep. Keith Self, R-Texas, told Fox News Digital he's considering invoking the challenge. Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., has already said he plans to use it against incoming Rep. Darializa Avila Chevalier. The move would face serious legal headwinds — the Supreme Court ruled in 1969 that the House cannot exclude an elected member who meets constitutional age, residency, and citizenship requirements.
