Be the CEO of Your development Your coach can give you the blueprint. They can teach, guide, correct, and support. But they can’t do the work for you. At the end of the day— You are the CEO of your game. Your effort? Your responsibility. Your habits? Your decision. Your future? Fully in your hands. Coaches are like advisors in a business. They help you see the path. They give you tools to grow. But they’re not the one clocking in for you. They’re not the one showing up early, staying late, or doing the extra work when no one’s watching. That’s your job. Great players take ownership. They don’t blame. They don’t wait. They don’t hope someone else will want it more than they do. The players who separate themselves? They move like professionals before they’re ever paid like one. They lead themselves, then others follow. They build something worth watching. So here’s the truth: You have guidance. You have support. Now it’s on you to execute. Be the CEO of your game.
