A 2nd & a 4th place in the menโs out of 16, & a 2nd, 5th and 12th in the womenโs also out of 16, for @TynemouthRC athletes in the English Beach Sprints Championships today in Bournemouth. A great result!
Here I am with 4 of them and my fellow coach. @EnglandRowing @BritishRowing

Lovely 12k row from #Tynemouth to #WhitleyBay and back this morning. Met a friendly seal on the way. @TynemouthRC

What is this strange flat water we see beneath us?!! Just like summer until you stop rowing.... ๐ ๐ฅถ #tynemouth โ at Yorkshire and The Humber, England
Delighted that we have been awarded a grant from the Sir James Knot Trust which has allowed us to add two new #Swift Coastal doubles to our fleet. Looking forward to getting them on the water very soon. @SwiftRacingUK #sirjamesknotttrust

Great weekend coaching senior GB Beach Sprint athletes and then a taster session for some local (and not so local) senior and junior rowers.

Natacha from my club is the new British Beach Sprints Rowing Champion ๐ฅ
A lot of hard work over the last year has paid off, and her training partner @FlowerdewHal has been instrumental in her progress with a little help from me.
A great achievement for @TynemouthRC

Back from the @BritishRowing Beach Sprints Championships.
4 of 5 @TynemouthRCโs athletes finished top 8 of their category, outstanding!
Natasha won the womenโs so sheโs British Champion.

A great day for #TeamTynemouth at the British Beach Sprints Championships yesterday with 4 of our athletes qualifying in the top 8 of their categories, meaning they are competing again today. A fantastic performance!
Weโve potentially got two, maybe three places available on our Learn to Row course which starts this Sunday. Two sessions at the club, a session in a rowing tank and a further two sessions at the club. Course fee is ยฃ75 which includes British Rowing membership and a t-shirt. #L2R

Saw a puffin while rowing on the sea yesterday, which was a first; then tonight there were a couple of seals and these dolphins. Thereโs nowhere better to row than Tynemouth. @TynemouthRC

Just rowing along, minding our own business, and we get cut up by some dolphins ๐ #tynemouth
