Would the discovery of alien life really threaten Christianity?
A recent Scientific American article raises that question. But I think there’s a more important one: What exactly would we have discovered?
Christianity has never required humanity to be the only intelligent creation. And confirming nonhuman intelligence wouldn’t automatically establish its origins, intentions, or theological significance.
In my latest article for The UAP Convergence, I explore what alien disclosure would—and wouldn’t—mean for Christian theology.
The existence of NHI would be the beginning of an investigation, not its conclusion.

Whatever Happened to Skywatcher—and Michael “Magic Mike” Battista?
•••••••••••••••••••••
Remember Skywatcher? Jake Barber’s operation promised extraordinary UAP evidence, including the ability to summon objects using consciousness and electromagnetic techniques. And now Barber is working for Burlison.
Former participant Michael Battista claimed he could summon UAP at will, presented footage of an alleged landing in his North Carolina backyard, and described a dream in which he piloted a craft using his mind.
Now Battista faces growing scrutiny. Critics have challenged another video, alleging it was filmed indoors rather than outdoors as represented. Questions have also surfaced about the provenance of footage attributed to his operations. Michael Herrera, once associated with Battista, has publicly broken ties with him and denounced alleged deception involving video evidence.
Meanwhile, Skywatcher has largely vanished from public view. The promised comprehensive evidence never materialized. Rumors persist that intelligence agencies shut down or absorbed the operation, but where is the documentation?
And Jake Barber? Reports now confirm he will be joining Rep. Eric Burlison’s congressional UAP investigation, just as Burlison warns that the Republican-led effort could end following the midterm results.
Politics has always been intertwined with ufology, regardless of party affiliation. But political connections, intelligence rumors, and extraordinary personal experiences cannot replace independently verifiable evidence.
What happened to Skywatcher’s data? Who has it? And why has so little of what was promised ever been delivered?

Rep. Eric Burlison warned that congressional UAP investigations would come to a “complete halt” if Republicans lost the midterms.
Well, Republicans lost. But Democrats are now signaling that UAP investigations may continue under their leadership, citing White House obstruction and unresolved disclosure obligations.
So perhaps the investigation isn’t ending after all. It may simply be changing hands.
The real question is whether Democrats will pursue the same crash-retrieval allegations, classified programs, and contractor-held evidence that Burlison has been investigating.
UAP transparency should never depend on which political party controls Congress.

If Aliens Are Real, Who Governs Humanity?
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
What happens when governments discover that another intelligence can enter their airspace, cross their borders, and operate with technology their militaries cannot challenge?
Political scientist Alexander Wendt raises that question in his new Oxford University Press book, The Last Humans. His concern is that confirmation of a superior nonhuman intelligence could undermine the very foundations of national sovereignty and political authority.
Sixteen years earlier, historian Richard Dolan and journalist Bryce Zabel explored another potentially explosive consequence in A.D. After Disclosure: What if governments had known about this intelligence for decades and concealed extraordinary technology from the public?
Imagine the geopolitical consequences. Would the United States, China, and Russia cooperate, or compete for technological supremacy? Who would represent humanity? And what happens to public trust if disclosure also exposes decades of institutional secrecy?
There’s another dimension that deserves serious consideration. Christianity has never assumed that humanity possesses ultimate authority over creation, or that we are its only intelligent inhabitants.
A superior intelligence might overturn our understanding of geopolitics. But would it overturn our understanding of humanity’s place in creation?
My new essay for The UAP Convergence examines these questions through the work of Wendt and Dolan, alongside a Christian perspective that may surprise secular readers.

STRATTON JUST CONFIRMED HIS EXPERIENCE WITH NHI AND CRAFT COMES MOSTLY FROM SKINWALKER RANCH
I think Stratton and Farah have created a legitimate credibility problem for themselves.
What concerns me most about the Hannity interview is that it gives critics something more substantial than accusations of grifting.
Stratton:
Claims the government possesses more than 12 recovered nonhuman craft, yet acknowledges he has never personally entered one.
Farah:
Presents Stratton as an exceptionally authoritative source on the alleged classified retrieval program.
Hannity:
Specifically challenges Stratton about whether he personally saw craft and beings.
Stratton:
Responds by describing Skinwalker Ranch and experiences at his family home.
Farah and Stratton:
Discuss their collaboration on The Age of Disclosure, Stratton's executive producer role, the book's commercial success, and plans for additional productions.
That combination creates legitimate questions about evidentiary transparency and financial incentives.
Does that make them grifters?
I would separate three possibilities.
1. They sincerely believe what they're reporting. Stratton may genuinely believe his experiences and the accounts supplied by his government contacts establish nonhuman visitation. Farah may share that conviction.
2. They have become insufficiently critical of their own evidence. Years of immersion in the subject, professional relationships, and commercial success can reinforce conclusions without anyone consciously lying.
3. They knowingly exaggerate or misrepresent the evidence. That's the allegation critics are making. It is serious, but the Hannity interview alone doesn't prove it.
These possibilities aren't mutually exclusive, but the commercial dimension matters.
Farah openly discusses the documentary's success, his involvement in Stratton's book deal, their plans to adapt Out of the Shadows into a dramatic series, and the possibility of The Age of Disclosure 2.
Those are commercial interests. They don't establish fraud, but they are relevant when evaluating how independently a documentary scrutinizes its own principal witnesses and their claims.
Democrats Plan To Continue UAP Disclosure Efforts
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Cybernews reported on November 3 that Democrats have drafted plans for a dedicated House UAP committee if they regain control after the midterm elections.
The report references Democratic Rep. André Carson’s criticism of delayed disclosure and David Grusch’s argument that transparency should not depend on a particular president.
This is potentially significant for congressional oversight, but the proposed committee is contingent on election results and subsequent House action; it is not an established investigative body.
Yet it rebuffs Republican claims Democrats would disband the current Republican-led committee headed by Rep. Luna and presently fielded by Rep. Burlison.

THE SOCORRO UFO: A TEENAGE ARTIST GOT IT RIGHT IN 1964. WHY DID EVERYONE ELSE GET IT WRONG?
For 62 years, illustrations of Lonnie Zamora’s famous 1964 Socorro UFO encounter have largely depicted an egg-shaped spacecraft, based on a hurried sketch Zamora made for the official Project Blue Book investigation.
But a much more detailed, eyewitness-approved illustration existed almost from the beginning.
And remarkably, it was created by an eighth-grade student.
Approximately two weeks after the encounter, Ricky (Rick) Baca was commissioned through the Socorro city attorney’s office to illustrate what Zamora had witnessed.
Baca and Zamora spent approximately TWO HOURS together, carefully developing the drawing. Zamora described the object, reviewed Baca’s work, and directed repeated corrections.
The finished charcoal illustration depicted a broad, flattened oval craft, distinctive angled landing structures, and a central downward-projecting flame.
It looked substantially different from the familiar egg-shaped spacecraft.
Most importantly, Zamora approved the drawing.
Baca even reproduced the mysterious insignia after Zamora sketched it separately because the young artist lacked a red pencil.
The illustration appeared in Socorro’s newspaper in May 1964, yet subsequent generations of artists continued reproducing variations of the simpler sketch.
How did a detailed, eyewitness-approved illustration become overshadowed by decades of artistic interpretations?
At The UAP Convergence, we’ve returned to Baca’s original work and created a modern forensic-style reconstruction, preserving the distinctive features he recorded under Zamora’s direction.
We’re not claiming to have discovered the spacecraft’s actual construction or exact dimensions.
We’re restoring attention to an important piece of contemporary eyewitness evidence.
Ricky Baca got the details right according to Zamora himself. The remarkable thing is that his drawing was there all along, while the familiar illustrations told a different visual story.
Historical research: Paul Harden (2008) and Kevin Randle (2016).

THREE CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OVER BRITAIN. THREE UNIDENTIFIED OBJECTS.
Recent reports describe apparent drones passing dangerously close to RAF aircraft and a commercial Boeing 777. But the official UK Airprox Board findings reveal something important:
Investigators did not identify any of these three objects as drones.
February 18, 2026 — North Sea
An RAF Voyager tanker refueling a Typhoon at 16,000 feet encountered a black circular object passing an estimated 100–150 feet overhead.
The Voyager pilot instinctively ducked. The accompanying Typhoon pilot independently observed the same object. No radar contact was reported.
The pilot initially suspected a drone but acknowledged it could have been a balloon.
Official finding: Unknown object. Category B.
February 23 — North Sea
Another RAF Typhoon pilot encountered a black circular object, roughly the size of a car tyre, passing approximately 300 feet overhead at 12,000 feet.
Official finding: Unknown object. Category C.
June 24 — Heathrow
A Boeing 777 climbing through 5,800 feet encountered a shiny metallic-looking object passing an estimated 50 feet overhead.
The pilot suspected a drone, but investigators could not identify it. No associated radar contact was found.
Official finding: Unknown object. Category A — serious collision risk.
Here’s the distinction: The UK Airprox Board can classify encounters as consistent with drones. It did not do so in these three cases.
That doesn’t rule out drones or balloons. It means investigators couldn’t establish what the objects were.
Britain also has an established aviation-safety reporting system. Civilian and military pilots can report unidentified airborne hazards through formal channels, with confidentiality protections and an emphasis on safety rather than blame.
It’s an interesting comparison with the reporting reforms advocated by former Navy pilot Ryan Graves and Americans for Safe Aerospace.
On October 26, Britain’s Ministry of Defence answered a parliamentary question about the February Typhoon encounter but declined to discuss specific threat assessments or intelligence matters.
Three incidents. Professional military and commercial pilots. Objects passing within an estimated 50–300 feet of aircraft. None positively identified.
If these were unauthorized drones, that raises serious airspace-security concerns. If balloons, why couldn’t investigators establish that?
And if they remain unidentified, what additional investigation is warranted?
We don’t need to assume extraterrestrial technology to recognize a legitimate aviation-safety problem.
We need answers.
