This Event has had to be postponed due to extreme heat expected. Dogs can be affected by heat and the agility demonstration would be too much for them at high 20s and 30s. New date 13th September. #Todmorden @TodmordenTweets

#Todmorden Boundary Walk. Another great event staged at Riverside. Run by 8th&26th Calder valley scouts helped by @CalderValleySRT An annual event for many years. We are working hard to ensure that despite @Tod_TownDeal withdrawing funding we can keep such #Community events.

It just gets better with support and collaboration of @thebasementproj volunteers. Today one team set about clearing the litter which had accumulated since @calderdale removed the litter bins. They then spread chippings donated by Watson’s tree surgeons! #Todmorden #kindness 🙏🙏

Today ladies from #Todmorden @thebasementproj Kindness cafe joined us. Firstly they collected 5 bags of litter/debris from south side of the site, then planted some more hawthorn to enhance our frontage. 🙏 🫶 #community #wellbeing #socialvalue

That’s a wrap! Around 150 walkers took place in the #Todmorden #BoundaryWalk congrats to organisers Calder Valley 8/26 Scouts and huge shout out for @CalderValleySRT for ensuring everyone got back safely, waiting for final two stragglers.

We hosted successful 2024 #Todmorden Agricultural Show. A deluge left us with challenges to recover playing fields. We’ve put our plan into action & recovery is underway. Watch this space & see transformation over next two months showing we can support many community activities
