“A lot of times the guy that plays hard is better than the guy that has the most talent." - Kirby Smart
Talent tells people what you could be.
Your effort tells them what you are.
Because coaches don’t bet on ability, they bet on reliability.

ALT With 6 years of coaching experience and over a decade of playing football collectively, Darren "Coach DC" Covington is a knowledgeable, dedicated, and reliable coach. He takes pride in teaching the fundamentals of football and developing athletes both on and off the field. Discipline, energy and execution are 3 pillars that Darren has built his coaching style around. Darren was a two-way athlete in high school playing both WR and SS. Darren also played 3 years of semi-professional football where his team was back-to-back state champions in Washington state. With over 6 years of experience coaching youth football and 1 year coaching semipro, and his knowledge from being a former athlete and still competing in competitive tournaments to this day, Darren has become a WR/DB specialist and takes pride in developing athletes in the offseason.
