Last time British Basketball tried to play on Merseyside the team was called Everton, they played in blue, half the city refused to go & therefore the club failed. This time they're called Liverpool and they play in red. Why does this sport never learn from its prior mistakes?🤦
LIVERPOOL BASKETBALL ANNOUNCES LANDMARK PARTNERSHIP WITH ADIDAS ✍️
Liverpool Basketball will wear adidas from the 2026-27 season under a new multi-year partnership.
The agreement makes Liverpool Basketball the sole adidas-supplied basketball club in the UK, joining adidas' portfolio of basketball clubs across Europe.
Match kit, teamwear and authentic jerseys will be available through the Liverpool Basketball club shop, with a full adidas team merchandise collection launching in November.
To celebrate the partnership, admission to Liverpool Basketball's inaugural home game at M&S Bank Arena on Sunday 25 October will be free for fans, courtesy of adidas.
Tickets are free but must be claimed in advance.

The club's first official adidas match kit launches early November - and if you've bought season tickets, you've already secured yours.
Thank you, adidas - for being here from game one.
Three Wings, Three Stars, Three Stripes.
The best is yet to come.

Good to indirectly have confirmation that @Surrey89ers are playing this season.
"SLB today announced the launch of its landmark 10th franchise."
The radio silence from BOTH the club and the league this summer has been very frightening.

First social media post by @gbbasketball since they entered administration on December 2nd. Does this mean the administrator has now finished their work?

There are people in the home country associations that will tell you the merging into a single unified British basketball governing body is impossible due to devolution.
You can send them this and tell them they are lying.

Smh to all the clubs who don’t give 🇬🇧 talent a chance AND smh to the league for having absurd rules on number of import players. Save your “we want to raise the level of the league” how about you invest in the talent that’s already here 🤣
That boy Flynn been a baller!
Last 2 months of @FlynnRaffet has been one of the most incredible things I've ever seen in British basketball. Thrust in starters, he scored 217 points in 10 games, take out the game he got injured he's averaged 23.4ppg in 9 games. Can't think of many British rookies done that

If the Lions think the Cup Final is being played at the Copper Box, my prediction is that they won't win the Cup.

I can't be the only one who had forgotten there was a Wednesday night game this week - why announce this a few minutes before tip off rather than a few days before?

Very very strange that all the social media and website content for this game is on the @bballengland accounts when there's @gbbasketball accounts that could be used instead.
Surely the administrator could have handed over passwords? @J_T_93 @JohnHobbsTB
"Let's celebrate International Women's Day by getting our Women to play at half three on a Wednesday afternoon, when anybody who works can't attend the game anyhow."
London Lions management, probably.
(If they were serious about IWD the Men would play at 1530 and the Women 1930)
