Batteries don't like the heat.
Direct sun on a job site or a hot car interior causes lithium-ion batteries to swell and fail.
🛑Keep tools in the shade.
🔥Don't leave phones in cars.
🧡Cool devices before charging.

Don't forget that the dumpsters on Windsor St. are free for students to use to discard larger items that are no longer useful. The bins will be in place until the morning of May 4th. Remember gently used items can be donated to many different organizations. Good luck on finals
With all of the ice from last night and the temperatures rising this morning, please be careful when walking/parking near buildings.
Please be careful walking around campus today as the ice is falling off of the roofs also some of the walkways remain slippery.
Look for these signs on Fredericton and Saint John campuses. They are located by the security offices and are a good place to exchange items purchased online that require a face to face transaction.
This February, UNB campuses will mark Black History Month with opportunities to learn, reflect and engage. It’s a time to acknowledge history, amplify Black voices and continue the work of fostering a more inclusive and equitable university community.
As Canada recognizes 30 years of Black History Month in 2026, we invite students, faculty, staff and community members to take part in these events and exhibits.
