On the International Day of Peace, I call upon all states, companies and other actors to invest in a peace economy 🕊️ More weapons do not mean more peace! We need a shift away from war economies. My 2026 GA report provides a roadmap: ohchr.org/en/documents/thema… #Right2Development

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Right to Development, I coorganised with @UNHumanRights an exhibition in Geneva Thanks @pmbdosgeneva @ChinaMissionGva @IndiaUNGeneva @MYGenevaUN @PTMissionGeneva @RSA_UNOG for supporting the exhibition

If in Geneva today, join this side event today at 2pm that I am co-organising with @IndiaUNGeneva, @MisionMexOI & @ETMissionGVA The event will highlight the importance of participation in development and how to achieve it. See my #HRC63 report here: ohchr.org/en/documents/thema…

Co-organised with @CUBAONU a side event to #HLPF2026 in the right to development at 40. The event was co-sponsored by Brazil and Viet Nam. Grateful to @UNECOSOC for providing opening remarks.
