USCIS partnered with @TheJusticeDept on filing denaturalization actions against 40 criminals accused of felonies, including acting as an agent for a foreign government, committing voluntary manslaughter, and aggravated sodomy of an individual with special needs. A naturalized U.S. citizen who illegally obtained naturalization by hiding important facts or lying will have their citizenship revoked and certificate of naturalization canceled. uscis.gov/newsroom/news-rele…

A Mexican alien who illegally entered the U.S. was arrested on felony drug, drug-smuggling, and traffic-related charges. While awaiting his immigration court proceedings, he was then arrested TWICE more for domestic violence and DUI. When this criminal appeared for an immigration interview in our Orlando office, @ICEgov was waiting to arrest him. Breaking the law has consequences.

The Justice Department has filed denaturalization actions in multiple U.S. district courts against 40 individuals accused of SERIOUS OFFENSES, including: 🔴 Acting as an agent for a foreign government 🔴 Committing voluntary manslaughter 🔴 Aggravated sodomy against a special‑needs man …and more. “Today’s announcement marks the largest denaturalization effort in modern history,” said @AGToddBlanche. “From an individual convicted of espionage to others convicted of sexual offenses against minors, these defendants concealed critical facts from the U.S. government and represent serious criminal offenders. Under @POTUS Trump’s leadership, this Department of Justice will continue to employ the denaturalization process to maintain our national security and protect the American people.” Read more about each case here: justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-d…

USCIS played a critical role in bringing an international alien smuggling and money laundering conspiracy to justice. A federal jury convicted Lazaro Alain Cabrera-Rodriguez for his role in a scheme that facilitated the unlawful entry of thousands of Cuban nationals into the United States. The organization used false identities and travel documents to smuggle aliens into the U.S. and advertised their bogus visa services scheme on social media to profit from this illegal activity. USCIS worked with @DHSgov, @ICEgov, and @CBP to expose and disrupt the network. Cabrera-Rodriguez faces up to 20 years in federal prison at sentencing. uscis.gov/newsroom/news-rele…

“If you committed fraud…you are not safe, and we will find you and we will bring charges against you.” @USCISJoe American citizenship is a privilege — and if you commit fraud during the naturalization process, you forfeit that privilege.

Our Orange County team identified an alien who entered the U.S. illegally and is wanted in Guatemala for murder and aggravated robbery when he arrived at our office for an interview. Their vigilance keeps our communities safe and @ICEgov is ensuring criminal aliens are off our streets.

#FraudFriday: Naturalization fraud undermines the integrity of U.S. citizenship and, under President Trump, will never be tolerated. In Charlotte, a federal grand jury charged Sha Bahadur Ghaley with naturalization fraud, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office filed denaturalization actions against three others for allegedly obtaining U.S. citizenship through fraud, concealment, or willful misrepresentation. USCIS supported several of these investigations and continues to collaborate with federal partners to protect the lawful immigration system and hold individuals who commit immigration fraud accountable. uscis.gov/newsroom/news-rele…
