We're testing the prototype to make a USGS water-quality "super gage" go mobile! Once tested / approved, we've partnered with the commercial shipping industry to enable real-time, water-quality monitoring as their commercial vessels navigate the inland waterways - we can't wait!

Volunteers from USGS OH-KY-IN Water Science Center set a benchmark at @LHCBSA - Camp Crooked Creek to help kids from all across our region learn orienteering and mapping skills. We were deeply honored that the camp staff chose to highlight this on their 2018 patches!

USGS Ohio-Indiana-Kentucky Water Science Center's Faye Peters and Paul Bruenderman conduct equal-discharge-increment (EDI) water-quality sampling on the Ohio River at Cannelton, IN. Rivers aren't generally well mixed, so collecting defensible data takes skill and effort!
