Not quite bike repair but being a bit of a twat, I managed to short the battery trying to put the key into the charging port. Luckily it is designed with both charge & supply fuses. Just a pity you need to open the unit to access them. Still, all working again!

Tensioning and truing. No job specific tools or talent but have given it a go. Both lateral and radial are slightly but gently out. I will keep messing about but not sure how much better I will get it just by thumb and eye. – at Glasgow, Scotland
