Once in Kampala, this gonna be my daily Hangout spot. #XAUUSDTradersCafe
Dear @MoWT_Uganda can we have this marked out on Entebbe Bypass especially towards the danger zones. People need to be reminded of the speed limits in Bold visible signs.
It can also be done on major Highways into and out of Kampala.
Banange nteseza bubbi?
This is a great development and it will be a great opportunity for trading and other activities that will benefit the economies of both states.
I welcome the inclusion of Ugandan passport holders into South Africa's Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system. Eligible travellers can now apply online for short-term visits of up to 90 days via eta.dha.gov.za. No physical visits to their mission or visa centre is required. This process is faster, more convenient and reliable. This is a practical and welcome result of our strong bilateral cooperation. I thank the two foreign ministers of our countries for quickly working towards this goal. Ugandan and South African friendship and co-operation remains strong. Mwebare.

My Closing Remarks at the Ministerial Troika Meeting of the Trilateral Planning Cell (TPC) in Pretoria, South Africa.
I represented the Republic of Uganda at the Ministerial Troika Meeting of the Trilateral Planning Cell (TPC) in Pretoria, South Africa, where I witnessed Uganda and Angola’s admission as new members.
I reaffirmed Uganda’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation, intelligence sharing and joint efforts to combat illicit drug trafficking and transnational organised crime, in collaboration with partner states and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
I congratulate H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on this milestone, which strengthens Uganda’s role in advancing regional security and cross-border cooperation.

During this difficult period in the Middle East, Singapore stands as a trusted friend to the UAE. Soon after the March conflict began, I spoke with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to express solidarity and thank him for protecting Singaporeans.
How does the Uganda ICT Ministry launch a National Data Strategy when all other agencies concerned with this sector are not aligned? This is a very huge loophole that is leading to massive wastage of national resources.
Recently, it took website users to remind the Ministry of ICT that their certificates for the website needed renewing so the website could be active and these are the same people launching a National Data Strategy weeks later without other agencies.
Do you guys remember the case studies I shared about how Dubai used AI to avoid this mess.
This is a very absurd situation and it speaks much on the kind of leadership that is holding responsibility in our country. How can Government agencies fail to be aligned?
This is the challenge that many Ministries in Government face, Ministers want to do their own things for political clout instead of aligning themselves with the National Strategic plan.
PUBLIC STATEMENT
The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has learnt with concern of the launch of a “National Data Strategy” by the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and National Guidance (MoICT&NG).
The Bureau informs the public that the strategy breaches the provisions of the UBOS Act, 1998, Cap. 333, which establishes UBOS as the principal data collecting and disseminating agency responsible for coordinating, monitoring and supervising the National Statistical System.
The public is therefore strongly advised to treat the impugned “National Data Strategy” recently launched by the MoICT&NG with the utmost contempt it deserves.

Meta has paused its Muse chat-sharing feature after researchers found thousands of private #AI conversations sitting in public DNS records. Share links that looked private were leaking. Another reminder that “just make it easy to share” often means “just make it easy to leak.”
