Important clarification for your attention! The University of Ilorin students have been and will continue to be beneficiaries of @NELFUND and other educational initiatives by the Federal Government, however, key issues must be noted and addressed. xitter.cf/theadammozeed/status/2…

🔥 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO UNILORIN STUDENTS WHO RECENTLY APPLIED FOR NELFUND MODEL and EFFICIENT Unilorites, We write to inform students who recently applied for NELFUND and are expecting the funds to cover their school fees for the current academic session should take note of the following clarification. The current NELFUND application cycle is not expected to cover school fees for this academic session. This has been communicated severally to students. This also explains why undergraduate students were not refunded for the previous session, as many had expected. Furthermore, the application portal remains open until December 2026. Until the application window closes, the processing of funds for this cycle cannot commence. Students are advised not to rely on their recent NELFUND applications to meet their current session's school fee obligations. Please make the necessary arrangements to meet the University's payment requirements a late registration additional charges have started. #TheLegacyAdministration

I am the President of the University of Ilorin Students’ Union and following comments that have trailed our communication to our colleagues, I deem it fit to make this clarification. Firstly, University of Ilorin has continually benefited wholly from NELFUND since inception. 1/x

🔥IMPORTANT UPDATE TO UNILORITES MODEL and EFFICIENT Unilorites, We write to inform you that the University of Ilorin has commenced the addition of a ₦10,000 late registration fee to the outstanding school fee charges of students who are yet to complete their tuition fee payments. Students who applied for NELFUND and have received partial payment of their school fees are also advised to check their student portals, as the late registration fee has reportedly been added to their outstanding balances. All affected students are advised to log in to their portals, verify their outstanding charges, and make the necessary remaining payments #TheLegacyAdministration – at Oke-Oyi, Nigeria
