Fact check on my post yesterday supporting Haley Stevens decision to cross party lines and endorse Mike Rogers for Senate in Michigan. I gave Mallory McMorrow credit for rejecting Abdul El-Sayed, but she did not. I wish more Democratic leaders had the kind of integrity and courage that Haley has shown. Abdul does not have the character to be a good US Senator, and he brings a lot of baggage with him including toxic masculinity and Hasan Piker. #usapolitics #michigan

Haley Stevens is a popular Democrat who just endorsed Republican Mike Rogers for the Michigan Senate race. She could no longer ignore her doubts about Abdul El-Sayed and chose integrity over Party loyalty. She deserves a lot of respect. Democrats are mad at her but the lesson is that character matters. I feel betrayed by the Democratic Party. Very few of them are willing to put the country above their own career. Obama even came out of retirement to try and save some of the worst candidates before the Midterm Elections. Downplaying major scandals about Abdul El-Sayed's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a rising threat around the world. It was bad enough when he legitimized Zohran Mamdani. Now it feels like he was gaslighting us the whole time.

France did all the right things, Universal Healthcare, Universal College... so why are people still mad? These are the things I was protesting for. It seems like the protest movement always wants more. Activists helped solve legitimate issues like voting rights and equality under the law, they established safety net programs, and public property, but the protests haven't died down at all.
