👀IF we do get rid of Carrick then we have to go get Emery, but also get Manzambi to follow him next Summer. If we want to be a serious club, they both need to come. We could also try to get Watkins to come back to the PL. He's already got 11 G+A in 10 for Al-Hilal this season...
🚨 JUST IN: Important people at Manchester United consider Unai Emery as the IDEAL coach to BUILD the future of the club. #MUFC [@FabrizioRomano]

You know what, I wouldn't put it past us beating Roma tomorrow and then beating Villa on Sunday. All the talk of Emery coming, you watch Carrick go and beat him. These players are so unpredictable I really wouldn't be surprised and that's what is so infuriating about them.

Ah bollocks. More Dalot then.
🚨 Patrick Dorgu is not fit enough to be involved in tomorrow’s game against Roma despite training today, says Michael Carrick. #MUFC

Who’s watching this Million Pound Shot? Not sure it’s actually a game show… I reckon it’s going to turn into a drama at some point. Maybe about gambling. Clever if so.

It doesn’t matter who the next manager is, the club should hire someone to fix the toxic culture AND also back them with players needed to bring the squad to a high level. Wilcox/Berrada didn’t give RA the right players for his ‘system’ & didn’t give Carrick enough this summer.
🚨🗣️ @David_Ornstein to NBC on if Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada are under pressure: “Naturally, the pressure will come to anybody at Manchester United in their position. It goes with the territory. “And it's not only the vocal masses of Manchester United fans, but those individuals - Berrada, Wilcox - will be feeling it themselves, because they've essentially put Michael Carrick in position, they dealt with the Ruben Amorim situation, Erik ten Hag prior to him, as well. “And that pressure will extend up to those in charge of the sport at Manchester United - that is Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and the Glazers remain the majority shareholders at Manchester United. So there is real responsibility - when we say “a fish rots from the head” - on the Glazers, and on Sir Jim Ratcliffe. “But, of course, Omar Barada, chief executive, Jason Wilcox, sporting director, will be charged with turning this around, and with this decision, which is in the hands of Jason Wilcox, on the coach. “I'm led to believe it's not a financial one. Of course, finances are always a consideration. But they're not keeping Michael Carrick for money reasons. “They're not not taking, say, Eddie Howe or Antonio Conte for financial reasons. The money will be there if they need and feel they want to make the change. “And that is the big question on them - the hierarchy at Manchester United - it’s time for them to deliver not only the man in the dugout.” #MUFC

Meanwhile Amad + Dalot are playing like dogshit and Lacey + Amass can't even get a minute on the pitch. Youth Courage Success? Sure.

Oh no. Just seen our next opponents Roma dominated yesterday, away from home, and are still unbeaten in 10 Serie A games… 👀 😭

Amad on IG: “The tough days weigh heavily on us, but they will never erase what unites us. The joy of winning again will be even stronger than waiting for it together. I'm so excited ☝🏾”

VAR would’ve had him sent off here. I miss when football was a contact sport.

We lose. The stories get repeated. Yawn.
🚨 | Eddie Howe is Jason Wilcox’s preferred candidate should Carrick be sacked, with contact between the parties understood to have been made. The former Newcastle manager is open to taking up the position, subject to negotiations. Julian Nagelsmann is highly regarded by Christopher Vivell, who is believed to have sounded out his fellow German. [@JamieJackson___]

How the table is looking after busy eight match Saturday 👀

I tried to watch Spurs. Tried to watch Bayern. Tried to watch Milan. Tried to watch Villa… I literally cannot get more than two minutes in before I turn it off. Football is not enjoyable at the minute. What has this club done to me #MUFC

MUFC are keeping Carrick on until the Int break because we don’t want ANOTHER interim manager for 2 games. So they keep Carrick - meanwhile they’re 100% talking to other managers. 8th Nov he’ll be sacked. 9th Nov someone comes in & gets 2 wks to settle before the Anfield trip 👍

Or the Glazers, or Ratcliffe, or Wilcox.
Man Utd fans again firmly saying they don't want a new stadium.

At this point Dalot has just memorised a script that is given to all players to make it sound like they actually give a shit. They all talk the talk but clearly are not hitting the standards on the pitch. Whether that's down to tactics or inability only they know. Empty words.
Diogo Dalot when asked as one of the senior #mufc players what he can do to turn this around: “Tomorrow, try to give my best. Always fight for the club and try to match the standards that we should have every single day. And then on the pitch, give everything for the club.” [@stadiumastro]

Has the penny finally dropped? As club captain he should be lecturing Martinez about letting everyone down today. Will he though? I guess we'll have to watch the Amazon documentary next summer to find out!
Bruno Fernandes at full-time... 💔😢

No?
🚨🎙️ | Bryan Mbeumo asked if players had let Michael Carrick and themselves down vs Chelsea: "No, obviously NOT. I think the mentality was there right from the first minute. Harder with 10 men. "We still TRUST everyone. With the men down, we still had some frustrations at the end. But I think we have done everything as a team today. "Maybe today we just missed some chances. We could have been up early in the game, but that's a positive to take out of this game..." [TNT]
