Opportunity Areas should be replaced with more direct, targeted interventions relevant to the local context – more use of RSCs, more incentives for MATs, and curriculum support. 7/

Ofsted should do more to take into account pupil characteristics to ensure the best schools are serving disadvantaged pupils, as well as better scrutiny of PP spending. 6/

The best teachers should receive £10k annually to move to areas of entrenched underperformance for a min. 3 years, and a teacher premium introduced to fund training/CPD. 4/
