UniversalGoods Protocol (Open Beta) June 8, 2025 We're officially launching our Open Beta, marking a significant milestone in the journey to seamlessly connect physical products with the digital world We created the DPP-NFT standard that defines a universal, reliable way to package and address physical product data (materials, origin, ownership history, etc.) into a verifiable on-chain asset. This allows consumer products to be compliant with upcoming EU DPP Regulations + creates interoperability for physical goods Built on top of the standard is our UniversalGoods Protocol. It defines the rules of exchange for these tokenised assets, ultimately creating two applications: ✅ Tokenisation Platform ✅ RWA Marketplace The Tokenisation Experience: At the heart of the UniversalGoods Protocol is the ability to create a unique digital identity for any physical item, known as a Digital Product Passport (DPP). The Open Beta provides a simplified-interface for users to experience this process from start to finish 1⃣ Users can begin by inputting simplified-DPP Details, populating the essential information that forms the product's digital soul 2⃣ Once the product's details are defined, the platform facilitates a UID Generation. For the Open Beta, this has been simplified to the creation of a unique 6-digit code. This code acts as the Unique Identifier (UID), creating the critical link between the tangible product and its newly minted DPP NFT. While the Protocol V1 version will feature a more robust, secure URL-based UIDs, this simplified process allows testers to easily evaluate the core flow of linking a physical item to its on-chain counterpart The UniversalGoods RWA Marketplace: Beyond tokenisation, the Open Beta showcases the UniversalGoods RWA Marketplace, an ecosystem designed for secure peer-to-peer trading of these newly tokenised assets 1⃣ The journey begins with UID Listing, where sellers can offer their tokenised products for sale. The system ensures authenticity by requiring sellers to reference the product's UID, guaranteeing that only genuinely tokenised items with a corresponding DPP NFT can be listed 2⃣ To provide security and trust for both parties, every transaction is managed through a robust Escrow Management system. This feature automatically secures the buyer's funds and the seller's DPP NFT in a dedicated smart contract vault until the transaction is successfully completed Facilitating smooth peer-to-peer interactions is an integrated Chat Functionality, allowing buyers and sellers to communicate directly to ask questions or coordinate logistics 3⃣ In the event of a disagreement, the Open Beta includes an MVP of the Admin Dispute Mechanism. While the full protocol envisions a Decentralised Juror System, this initial version allows an administrator to review and mediate disputes, ensuring a safe environment 4⃣ The cornerstone of the marketplace's security is the final Confirm UID Verification step. Before escrowed funds are released, the buyer must confirm receipt of the correct physical item by verifying its 6-digit UID. This cryptographically secured confirmation triggers the smart contract to finalise the trade, releasing the funds to the seller and the DPP NFT to the buyer

Hey 👪 Its been a min... We took a short break to refine our strategy and we're now focusing our limited resources to initially service enterprises affected by the EU Battery Passport Regulations Batteries are one of the categories that are needing Digital Product Passports and with a hard deadline for compliance by Feb 18 2027 We'll then re-target the other industries after receiving more concrete delegated acts early next year - Family Team 🩷

One year ago we incorporated Family Labs here in Australia 🎉🥳 But it took us almost 527 days to prepare the Universal Goods Protocol for LUKSO mainnet... Here's the roadmap for what comes next 👀 ➡️ JUNE 13 2026: Protocol V1 Launch The Universal Goods Protocol goes live on @lukso_io Open infrastructure that gives every physical product a secure, verifiable digital identity 🪪 The EU is mandating Digital Product Passports across product categories, roughly 12.4 billion products a year... Most of the market is building compliance SaaS tools, we built an open infrastructure that will last generations ➡️ JULY 23 2026: Source + Settle Programmable settlement for B2B trade 🤝 Cross-border supplier payments today take 3 to 5 days and lose 3 to 7% to intermediaries... We're leveraging @Stablecoin as our provider to save our clients 2 to 3% annually Payment and product data can finally live in the same system, truly enabling traceability with verifiability through stablecoins ➡️ AUGUST 27 2026: Scout AI-Agent Our proprietary AI-agent that will automate and orchestrate the DPP compliance 🤖 Compliance teams spends countless hours per supplier per product line chasing data... Scout contacts suppliers, gathers the data, validates it and structures it into the passport autonomously. Your team reviews outcomes instead of chasing inputs ➡️ 2027/2028: TGE + Decentralisation Governance of the protocol transitions to the community, stewarded by the Universal Goods Foundation Infrastructure this foundational shouldn't belong to one company... Tokenomics and distribution model are still being designed, more news on this as we progress ✊

The best infrastructure is the kind you never think about... 🤔🧐 ❌ You do not think about the protocol that lets your washing machine talk to the power grid. ❌ You do not think about the standard that makes a traffic light mean the same thing in every city. ❌ You do not think about SMTP when an email arrives or TCP/IP when a page loads. You just live... The infrastructure holds everything up quietly underneath ⛓️🔗 That is what we are building for physical commerce The Universal Goods Protocol is not meant to be understood. It is meant to be USED 🤝 ✅A consumer scans a product and owns it. ✅A brand mints a DPP and meets compliance ✅An agent verifies a product and transacts on it. None of them need to know there is a protocol underneath, any more than you need to understand the electrical standard behind your washing machine to do your laundry This is the bar we set for ourselves... Because the things that truly change daily life are never the ones you notice. They are the ones that quietly become the way things work 👀👀 In a few years, every product you own will carry its own verified identity... ➡️You will not think about how ➡️You will just expect it The way you expect a light to turn on when you flip a switch 💡 That is the future we are building towards 👷🛠️

Traditional enterprise software sells you a tool and charges per seat... 1⃣ You buy the licences 2⃣ You hire the people 3⃣ Your team does the work The software is a dashboard. The labour is still yours... We sell the OUTCOME, not the dashboard 😏👀 When a brand needs compliant Digital Product Passports across thousands of products, the hard part is not the software. It is the work... ⚠️ Gathering supplier data ⚠️ Structuring it ⚠️ Multi-tier supply chain orchestration That work normally takes a team of people months.. Scout, our upcoming AI-Agent, does that work for you (July 27 Release Date)

🤖 Agentic Commerce Pt.2 🤖 A system that records the truth of what BILLIONS of people own cannot belong to a single company... A record of: 1⃣ Who owns what 2⃣ Where it came from 3⃣ Whether it's real Across billions of products If one corporation owns that, it owns your ownership... You RENT proof of your own possessions from a company that can change the rules or disappear 🫠 ✅ Email didn't belong to one company ✅ The web ran on TCP/IP. ✅ Open standards everyone builds on Physical commerce never got that layer, so we built it... The Universal Goods Protocol gives every physical product a verifiable identity on @lukso_io Owned by the person who holds it, not by us Readable by anyone: ✅ Brands ✅ Third-party ✅ Agents The Universal Goods Protocol handles the identity and the truth of the product 🪪 The same open layer that lets a person truly own what they hold is the only layer an agent will ever trust For agents this means: ➡️ Verify a product is real and trace its full history across every owner and border ➡️ Confirm who owns it now and transact with them directly ➡️ Settle with every stakeholder involved: seller paid, royalties paid The agents are arriving... Now they can see your products, and no company stands between them and the truth 🤝

🤖 Agentic Commerce Pt. 1🤖 For thirty years, being findable online meant being findable by people.... ℹ️ You optimised for search 2⃣ You bid on keywords 3⃣ You made your product easy for a HUMAN That era is ending 👋✌️ The next buyer is not a person, It is an AGENT acting on a person's behalf BUT Most of the conversation about Agentic Commerce is really about marketing/advertising... 🥱😪 That is the digital services view of the world, where the transaction ends the moment money changes hands BUT Physical products don't work that way... A jacket is manufactured in 1⃣ country, shipped through 3⃣, sold in a fourth It changes ownership three or four times across its life: ✅ Resold ✅ Refurbished ✅ Recycled Dozens of stakeholders touch it: 🏭 Factory 👕 Brand 🏬 Retailer 💰 Marketplace 🏭 Recycler Each one holds a fragment of the truth about that object, and none of them holds all of it That is the real system an agent has to operate in.. Its not simply "Find me a product" BUT "Verify this physical thing is what the seller claims, trace where it has been, confirm who owns it now, and settle a transaction that respects everyone with a stake in it." No agent can do that today, because the truth about a physical product is severed from the product itself... Scattered across ❌ Private databases, ❌ Paper certificates ❌ Receipts in the bin This is a far more complex problem than agent-readable advertising. It is foundational infrastructure for how physical things move through the world 🌏 And it raises a question that matters well beyond technology... Who should own this foundational infrastructure? 🤔🧐 The right to own a physical thing, and to prove it is yours, is one of the oldest and most fundamental parts of human culture. A system that records the truth of what BILLIONS of people own cannot belong to a single company...

Something is changing in how commerce works and most brands have not noticed yet... AI are no longer just answering questions, they're starting to: ✅ Act autonomously ✅ Discover products ✅ Compare alternatives ✅ Complete Purchases ✅ Evaluate Not in theory.... In production 👽🛸 The financial infrastructure for this is slowly being established: 1⃣ x402 2⃣ AP2 But here is the gap nobody is building 👀 These agents are BLIND to physical products ❌ A shoe has no machine-readable identity an agent can read ❌ A phone has no verifiable provenance an agent can check ❌ A second-hand jacket has no ownership history an agent can trust The entire financial layer for agent commerce is arriving... BUT the identity layer for the physical goods those agents need to transact on doesn't exist That is why we're building the Universal Goods Protocol 🎉🥳🚀 Powered by lukso-token-2:native

Beautifully articulated on why @lukso_io will eventually be the future of the internet 👀 The reason why I had so much conviction on lukso-token-2:native back in 2021 when I first read the whitepaper and more so now, is due to the underlying FACT that: ✅ Entertainment ✅ Lifestyle ✅ Music ✅ Sports Are the main drivers of CULTURE… not finance/gambling/investing Culture is what fundamentally drives CHANGE in human behaviour. Once you understand this, you can’t unsee it… The only caveat is that changing human behaviour takes TIME, but this isn’t measured linearly instead exponentially Ggwp @feindura 💜
