Dolly Parton is dead, and the church never knew what to do with her. Half my feed is posting rhinestones today. The other half never trusted her, because she would not wear the uniform. She never preached a sermon. She just did the works. One man. Fifty-eight years. In an industry that eats marriages. No scandal reel, no reality show, no trading up. Just Carl, and a promise kept until death did them part. She could have built towers in Nashville. Instead she built in the mountains she came from, so the people she came from could work. Two hundred million books. Given away to children, free, no strings, while the rest of us argued about what to read. A million dollars for a vaccine in the middle of a plague, and she called it what it was: helping. She was a feminist who never used the word, a superstar who never left home, and a believer who never made you watch her pray. "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." James 2:18. We spent years asking whether she was one of ours. She never asked whether we were one of hers. She was too busy feeding children. I do not know her heart. That was never my job. I know her works, because the whole county she came from lives on them. "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matthew 7:20. You want to honor her today? Put down the tribute post. Put a book in a kid's hands. Stay married. Do the works. That was the whole sermon. She just never said it out loud.

Where did Kenneth Copeland get the idea that God is 6'2" and weighs a couple hundred pounds? Why did Benny Hinn teach that there are nine persons in the Trinity? It all traces back to one man — and a study Bible still sitting on bookshelves in millions of Christian homes. I'm joined by Chuck Lewis from Sheep Among Wolves and Steve Johnson, author of Deconstructing Kenneth Hagin, to look at who this man was, what he taught, and why so many Word of Faith teachers still endorse his Bible today. youtu.be/Z_hhy9xOr20?si=1hzm…

Gateway Church (@GatewayPeople) and former pastor Robert Morris have agreed to arbitration over Morris’ multimillion-dollar retirement dispute, ending a public court battle tied to his resignation and later conviction for sexually abusing Cindy Clemishire. Morris had sought millions in retirement payments, while Gateway argued his conduct nullified those claims. roysreport.com/gateway-churc…

After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the apostles spread the gospel and then all but John were martyred in the most brutal of ways. Would they all have died for a lie?

One of the joys of Bible Study is discovering the web of connections between the Old Testament and the New Testament, especially when they help us to better understand the ministry of Jesus. Here is one you may not have noticed. In Bible in One Year, we read Mark 14 today. Jesus is praying in the Garden of Gethsemane on Passover night (Mark 14:32–42). Three times, Jesus uses the language of watching. 1) He tells his disciples, “Remain here and watch” (14:34). 2) After finding them asleep, he asks, “Could you not watch one hour?” (14:37). 3) He urges them, “Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation” (14:38). Watch, watch, watch. This repeated emphasis on watching is not accidental. It reaches back to the institution of the Passover in Exodus. In Exodus 12:42, Passover is described in Hebrew as lēl šimmūrîm, “a night of watching” (Exod 12:42). The phrase carries a twofold meaning. On that night, the Lord watches over Israel to redeem them from slavery. At the same time, the people of Israel are commanded to watch, to stay awake, and to remain alert for what the Lord is about to do for them. Passover, then, is a night of watching. On this Passover night in Gethsemane, Jesus calls his disciples to watch. Fittingly, they fail. They fall asleep. Their inability to watch highlights a deeper truth. This redemption will not depend on their vigilance. It will rest entirely on the Lord. Jesus alone will accomplish the true Passover redemption. He is the Passover Lamb who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29; 1 Cor 5:7). As his disciples sleep, he watches, prays, and submits himself to the Father’s will. The Lord who once watched over Israel in Egypt now watches over his people by giving himself for them.

I came across this on instagram, and we know mainstream would rather show 24/7 footage of created scripts. But does any Americans know about this? Over 1 month Missing Fulton, Missouri Three-year-old Clara Comer has been missing since December 26, 2025 - and she is still not home. She is just a baby. Too young to protect herself. Too young to understand danger. Every single day without answers is unbearable for her family. This case cannot fade. If you see anything - do NOT approach. Call Callaway County Sheriff's Office (573) 642-7291 or contact your local law enforcement immediately. Please share again. A new share means new eyes. This is not just a post. It's a little girl who needs to come home.

Pray for the Iranians living through what feels like hell on earth. Pray for the Christians - for strength, for protection, for the power to share the gospel and for that gospel to take root in hearts of stone. Ask for God to deliver them from tyranny and the scourge of Islam

On Instagram, it’s 2020 all over again. Women, including many, many Christian women, are being completely duped by the anti-ICE propaganda. Believed the “ICE arrested a lone 5-year-old” completely. It’s demoralizing. I am working HARD in my DMs and posts and on my show trying to combat this nonsense and appeal to these women. However, I felt like I was the only white evangelical woman questioning BLM in 2020, and I don’t feel as alone now. There are more of us 5 years later, and I am grateful for that.

Last week The Roys Report @reachjulieroys reported that Pastor Greg Locke's church doesn't show up in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search. So let's explore this exemption in the tax code. julieroys.com/pastors-accuse… To become a non-profit in America, most organizations are required to file the Form 1023, Application for Recognition of Tax-Exemption. However, churches, synagogues and mosques--organizations that operate as places of worship--are exempt. Following the Jim Bakker scandal, in 1987 Congress held a hearing to discuss oversight of religious organizations. O. Donaldson Chapoton, Assistant Treasury Secretary for Tax Policy, told the oversight committee, "Exempting churches from reporting requirements and placing restrictions on IRS audit activities reduce the ability of the IRS to administer and enforce the law." Congressman Charles Rangel later commented, "From what I understand from the testimony of this panel, any person or organization could declare themselves a church, enjoy tax exemption, and you would have no way of knowing." Chapoton responded, "That is correct." In 2011, staffers for Senator Chuck Grassley compiled a report listing loopholes exploited by religious organizations. Grassley requested the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) create a policy commission to study the loopholes and offer solutions to fix problems. Under Issues of Consideration: "Should new entities claiming church status at least be required to notify the IRS of its intent to claim church status? Alternatively, should new entities claiming church status only be required to notify the IRS of church status if they intend to solicit contributions from the public? Would any of the limitations to the filing exception discussed above, or requiring an e-postcard for certain organizations, be feasible without violating constitutional principles?" ECFA's commission failed to include church whistleblowers as policy experts. Representatives from MinistryWatch and Trinity Foundation would have provided alternative views to the ministry leaders and church attorneys on the commission. When the ECFA commission completed its report, it failed to call for any substantial reforms or reporting requirements for religious non-profits with church status. For anyone concerned about church and ministry financial integrity that wants to better understand the issues, we recommend the Senate Finance Committee memo outlining loopholes exploited by religious leaders. The 61-page report at the following link is worth reading. trinityfi.org/FV/Grassley/Me…

Islam doing its thing.
Meanwhile in the Netherlands, the usual coalition of Muslim migrants and far-left Palestinian activists is feeling inspired by the Hanukkah massacre in Australia and is attacking a Hanukkah event in Amsterdam. I have no words.
