Delighted to participate in a massive tree plantation drive along the Bisuhi River in my constituency Gonda, UP, to conserve our local biodiversity.
Under Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s #EkPedMaaKeNaam initiative, around 40,000 saplings were planted till now along Bisuhi in the Rehra range.
Based on expert recommendations, native species like Bamboo, Sehor, Sinduri, Arjun, Palash, Bel, and Desi Khajur were planted to restore and protect the river’s natural ecosystem. #एक_पेड़_माँ_के_नाम #MissionLiFE #Biodiversity #EnvironmentFirst

वृक्षारोपण महायज्ञ–2026
आज अपने लोकसभा क्षेत्र गोण्डा के ग्राम ग्वालियर ग्रंट में विसुही नदी के किनारे भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सम्मानित कार्यकर्ताओं, वन विभाग के अधिकारीगण तथा विभिन्न विद्यालयों के छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ व्यापक रूप से वृक्षारोपण किया।
इस अवसर पर उपस्थित सम्मानित जनों एवं छात्र-छात्राओं को वृक्षों के महत्व तथा पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक करते हुए अधिक से अधिक पौधे लगाने एवं उनके संरक्षण का संकल्प दिलाया। साथ ही विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले प्रतिभावान छात्र-छात्राओं को पुरस्कृत किया तथा “एक पेड़ माँ के नाम” अभियान के अंतर्गत उन्हें फलदार पौधे उपहार स्वरूप भेंट किए।
आइए, हम सभी मिलकर अधिक से अधिक वृक्ष लगाएं और हरित, स्वच्छ एवं सुरक्षित गोण्डा के निर्माण में अपना योगदान दें।

आज लखनऊ स्थित उत्तर प्रदेश वन निगम की 277वीं बोर्ड बैठक में सम्मिलित होकर निगम से जुड़े विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की।
बैठक में उत्तर प्रदेश के समस्त टाइगर रिजर्व, चिड़ियाघरों एवं वन्यजीव अभयारण्यों के लिए एकीकृत एवं समर्पित वेब पोर्टल विकसित कर उसे पर्यटकों के लिए अधिक सुविधाजनक एवं उपयोगी बनाने हेतु आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।
साथ ही, उत्तर प्रदेश वन निगम की ERP एप्लीकेशन को और विकसित करते हुए संबंधित मॉड्यूल्स के रख-रखाव तथा क्लाउड सर्वर को AI आधारित प्लेटफॉर्म पर विकसित करने के निर्देश दिए, जिससे निगम की कार्यप्रणाली को आधुनिक, पारदर्शी एवं अधिक प्रभावी बनाया जा सके।

#WATCH | Lucknow, UP: On the Vriksharopan Mahayagya 2026, Sunil Chaudhary, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), says, "Our target for this year was planting 35 crore trees... We have just reached this milestone, and as reports are still coming in, the final figure is likely to exceed... Just as we strategically planted trees over the past five years, we are now launching an intensive drive for their protection over the coming three months. We need to replace any saplings that have not survived and immediately arrange for watering any that appear weak. A comprehensive plan is ready, and we have held meetings with other departments..."

The target was planned scientifically, with the broader objective of increasing the state's forest cover from 14 per cent to 15 per cent by 2030-32.
