This is a bit of a different post that i have been debating to do over a few months. My parents have been in the church ministry for over 25 years, but the last few years, they have received countless setbacks. My dad is getting older, and is not able to keep up with work. Church ministry doesn't pay as much. This isn't a attack on my own church, but this is simply a statement. I hate to ask support for my family, but it is my wish to help them in some shape or form. It’s sad that some on the left treat political beliefs like a personal betrayal. You can like different things, do ASMR, and still decide conservatism or Christianity makes more sense later—and that shouldn’t erase old friendships or turn you into a “chud” who has “fallen.” People change. Friends should be able to handle it.
