Captive Dreamer’s worst sin is that he destroyed and betrayed himself for nothing He’s persona non grata in polite society. He lost his job. His family disowned him. And now he’s getting eaten alive by the same crowd he gave up everything for It’s like watching a Greek tragedy

NEW: In leaked recordings, Peter Thiel argued that Nashville should be a moral alternative to Pope Leo XIV and the Catholic Church, which he called “a dubious ally” against a hypothetical future Antichrist Democratic president. “America is the last and final form of the Roman Empire,” Thiel told a closed-door crowd in Nashville’s Masonic Temple. “There is no successor.” He has attacked Pope Leo XIV at least four times this year, once calling him “a useful idiot for the CCP.” thelettersfromleo.com/p/the-…

That’s quite impossible, Matt, seeing as from March to July, the Iran war ended over 22 separate times according to you.
Fuck it, I'll do it now. The Iran war's effect on the economy is why Republicans lost. Nobody would have cared about Iran if it hadn't affected energy prices. Nobody actually cares about your Israel conspiracy theories or bombed schools full of Iranian schoolchildren or other insane gobbledygook. Just like nobody cared about Iraq until it hit their bottom line; Lynndie England was running a one-woman femdom show at Abu Ghraib and it had fuck all effect on Bush's reelection because the economy was good. If Trump had ripped off the Band-Aid and turbonuked Iran months ago, we'd be in a far better position. We've WON, but energy prices are still up and nothing is happening. It doesn't LOOK like we've won to many people. The blame for this is with JD Vance, since the MOU and these other bullshit negotiations are his baby. There may have been a diplomatic value in showing that Iran is unreasonable even when we give them a good deal, but if there was, it's long gone. There's a lot to like about Vance, but he really fucked up here and it's probably going to spike his presidential ambitions.

I love X. It’s my personal favorite social media platform. But Republican politicians spend far too much time on it. This app is dominated by hyper-partisans and political operatives, which makes it easy for them to get misled by right-wing “influencers” (often pay-for-play) into treating niche issues as things ordinary voters actually care about. Most normal people aren’t here following daily political discourse; they spend their time on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Republicans need to get better at communicating on those platforms.

The political “influencer” industry has gotten out of hand. Special interest money has flooded the online ecosystem. It’s why I’ve been working with lawmakers to change disclosure laws and I have also had conversations with folks at the FTC. If you get paid to promote a protein bar you need to say “paid partnership,” if you get paid to attack someone who works for the Trump admin or trash a piece of legislation, no disclosure is needed. Time for that to change!
Massive undercovered media story: The number of influencers who are paid to produce content/shape opinion and don't disclose their funding sources. It produces huge distortion in the news/information marketplace and rewards, often very handsomely, the worst actors.

This has been very obvious to anyone with a brain for a while now. Yarvin larps as a 180 IQ dark wizard political genius but all he does is make bad predictions and vague esoteric references to old obscure thinkers and books to make you think he’s smart. For a certain type of lonely, depressed, angsty autistic type it’s easy to get one-shotted by guys like him but he’s just a total pseud and a fraud, like the “Intellectual Dark Web” guys from 2010s. Avoid.
Replying to @curtis_yarvin
I’m beginning to suspect you don’t really have any clue what you’re talking about and are just sort of autistic and on amphetamines. I still support but feeling glum

No I don’t deny that. I’ve paid you for tweets before. I haven’t for at least a year though. I also know you still get paid by others for tweets so I do think it’s fair to refer to you as an “influencer.” What percentage of your tweets are paid for?
You say “Okay lol” Not sure why you are laughing. I recall last year your company X strategies reached out to me asking me for help. Do you deny that? What is so funny? I guess I don’t get the joke. You loved sharing my journalistic reports during the 2023/2024 DeSantis-Trump primary too. What changed?

Feel like one of the big losers from the election is all the eccentric ex-leftist/ex-liberal types who joined up with Trump between 2023-2025. Clear that knives are out. Hard to imagine anyone taking Bari Weiss seriously going forward.

chud fatigue is a real phenomena. the worst excesses that people attribute to the left years ago were mostly the passive force of a hegemonic cultural status quo. chud behavior by contrast is an escalating series of vice signalling competitions by which they derive social status.
People are fucking tired of this shit. They're tired of the name-calling. The tantrums. The playing with soyjaks and Harry Potter and Star Wars dolls. The sexually charged fixations on streamers and Twitter accounts that hurt your feelings. The crybully shit that nobody buys because you're fundamentally violent and angry people who never even hide it. You're fucking losers. You're fundamentally unpopular losers who believed that your Twitter engagement represented a nationally popular ideology and went on a humiliating ego trip for the last two years. Shitting your pants over and over and then announcing it was a W when people pointed out the smell. The country is sick of you, and the world is sick of you. Your Twitter numbers do not mean shit. It's time to accept that it's over and go out and form real connections with real people. Or go on being the village idiots.

Most of online right commentary keeps the audience in a constant state of reactivity, and avoids falsifiability and judgment of commentators' political priors and acumen.
Even if people like Patrick Casey, Martin/Captive Dreamer, Matt Forney, etc.weren't abject shills, the fact that they only jumped ship now shows that they're incapable of making future predictions, and therefore would be untrustworthy as political commentators regardless.

At Thiel’s final Anti Christ lecture in Nashville last month, he was asked this question: “Will you stay and fight if things become extremely bleak, or seek sanctuary outside of America?” His answer was frustratingly opaque. Basically that it’s a question he wrestles with constantly, cited Scripture (Philippians 1:23) in dramatic fashion about being torn between the two, and ended on essentially “we’ll see.” Not inspiring.
Peter Thiel's Roth IRA unlocks at 59 1/2, which means he has infinite money for the 2028 election cycle. He will have to decide if he wants to be a podcaster giving theatre talks, or a playable character in the war for eternity.
