This is HUGELY important: "The Democratic surge on Tuesday netted at least 330 state legislative seats, from New Hampshire to Arizona, giving the Democrats full control of 22 state governments and making them the majority in a dozen statehouse chambers where they had been the minority party." nytimes.com/2026/11/04/us/po…

NEW: President Donald Trump says he is standing by Pete Hegseth, which leaves in place a political lightning rod for newly empowered Dems who are eager to probe the Pentagon and hold the administration accountable for the Iran war. washingtonsun.com/whitehouse…

Search and rescue operations have now been underway for three days at the site of the Russian strike on a school in the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russians used nine aerial bombs. They first struck people who had come to receive humanitarian aid, and then first responders and police officers who arrived at the scene. All necessary services are involved. It is an extremely difficult operation, very challenging, and it is being carried out under virtually constant threat of new Russian strikes. As of now, 40 people have been reported killed. Unfortunately, some bodies have not yet been identified. My condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed. More than 30 people may still be under the rubble. Unfortunately, there has been very little reaction from the world to this insane attack. But it, like thousands upon thousands of other war crimes Russia has committed against Ukraine and Ukrainians, demands a strong response. Evil always goes further if it is left unanswered. We count on a response – Ukraine needs air defense support right now. I am grateful to the partners who are taking such steps.

Shooting missiles at kids trying to play hockey in Ukraine is worse.
Not letting Russian kids play hockey in Canada is retarded.

There is one contingency in which I won’t reintroduce the articles of impeachment: Hegseth resigns.

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

“Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, the famously anti-Trump GOP lawmaker, told CNN he plans to trigger a vote to impeach Hegseth when Congress returns next week — and multiple GOP sources said they expect it to pass.” cnn.com/2026/11/04/politics/…

It's a de facto motto in the Trump White House: "Somebody's gotta take the fall." Lately, that person looks like Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. "Hegseth is definitely on thin ice," a Trump adviser told Axios. axios.com/2026/11/05/hegseth…

President Donald Trump may have launched the war that tanked voters' support for the GOP, but the party's historic midterm losses are accelerating a push for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to take the fall. And the House could vote as soon as next week to impeach the Pentagon's top leader. cnn.it/3UwjB0b

If preliminary results hold, Utah House Democrats will pick up 15 seats and unaffiliated candidates will take 2. And another powerful Senate Republican leader is slated to lose. Here’s how that could shake up the GOP-controlled Utah Legislature #utpol utahnewsdispatch.com/2026/11…

So many glass ceilings were shattered and so many records were made last night that we couldn't even fit it all in one image. But here's just a few of the ways women made history in the 2026 elections!

The scale of this electoral tsunami is hard to overstate. Democrats are on pace to win the House popular vote by a remarkable 13 points. For historical perspective, it’s the largest victory for either party in 50 YEARS and the biggest midterm rout since Watergate.
