A few years ago, I took quite a lot of abuse for backing Qatar and predicting the future under INEOS at Man Utd. Everything that I said would happen, has happened. The receipts are still visible on my old account and those who gave me abuse have also changed their views…🫣

Man City who are facing 115 charges = £430m spent if they get Enzo Fernandez as well. Chelsea who have no Champions League football = £350m spent. Spurs who escaped relegation last season = £300m spent. Liverpool = £200m spent. Arsenal = £195m spent. Man Utd = £145m spent.

Congratulations to Spain on becoming the champions of the world. It’s totally deserved, by far the best team at the 2026 World Cup. As for Argentina, they got what they deserved. Nothing. An extremely unlikeable team fuelled by cheating.

We haven’t seen much of Diego Leon since signing him but it would be good to see him get a solid chance during pre-season if we don’t sign Lewis Hall. There’s no chance Luke Shaw stays fit all season again. He was only available because he was desperate to make the WC squad.

If we can sign Lewis Hall & Carlos Baleba or Manu Kone, I think that’s a good summer transfer window for us.

Currently in Mexico but not quite Mexico City. It’s so much better when you watch the World Cup outside of the UK…👌🏻🇲🇽
