In NYC-DSA's democracy, electeds and members are equals. I'm proud to organize with Groundwork and run on their slate for convention this year. GW is committed to growing DSA into an org as multiracial and powerful as the World's Borough. Vote Groundwork by midnight tonight!
We’re excited to announce the Socialists Must Lead slate for City Convention! Socialists Must Lead (Groundwork & Friends) sees 2028 as the biggest opening socialists have had in generations, and NYC-DSA needs to be ready to run AOC for president and a socialist cadre for Senate.

By the way, for all the people who say its okay to concede on trans women in sports because it "only" impacts a few hundred people: Over 150,000 trans people depend on Medicaid. For medically necessary treatment, not a hobby. Is that a high enough number for you to care yet?
#IAPol: "No Iowan should face discrimination. As a Paralympian, I also know it's important to have rules. It's why I oppose males competing in female sports ... I'm against taxpayers paying for sex changes, too." Josh Turek is up with a new #IASen ad. Future reservations: 🔵$18.0M 🔴$15.5M

Who is she trying to appeal to. You live in LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA and you're up by over 6 points 10 days out!
Is L.A. mayoral candidate Nithya Raman a capitalist? "I'm a capitalist and I'm also a Democratic Socialist...we need to make sure capitalism works without harm to workers... to poor people." She says the DSA is a "big tent" but she disagrees with members who call to abolish police, prisons and the Senate. Interview via @InsidePolitics on @CNN

At B&R’s 2026 convention, we voted to join the draft for and support an AOC presidential campaign. We believe her campaign has the potential to build the labor movement, the student movement, and DSA.

The best evidence for the left right divide not being an intelligence gap is that socialists are seemingly unable to contend with hypotheticals, analogies and dilemmas at similar rates to Trump supporters

AOC: For a very long time, “working class” was a euphemism for race and gender. And it was really about a very specific and only one slice of the working class. And we are talking about the actual working class in this country—people working, trying to put food on the table, put their kids through school, and, if they’re lucky, be able to save up for a rainy day. But increasingly, people are not able to do that. And I think that there is no discussion about the working class unless you are talking about all of the working class in America, which is a multiracial working class.
