i'm curious why people do what they do.
what made you start building or working on what you are today?
passion? money? need? something else?
i think it's critical to embrace AI,
and find ways to leverage it to our advantage.
can't put the genie back in the bottle, might as well make the most of having it out.
most people act like taking on VC money is a prize.
you are bound to those handing you the money and are expected to 10x their money in a set time.
and by the time you exit (are acquired/go public), are left with a fraction of what you originally built.
i genuinely believe that GEO/AEO is the future for marketing.
getting AI to recommend your product to someone looking to solve their problem will be the way you get customers.
it feels like time passes by faster as you grow older.
a year in childhood felt like 25% of my life, now a year passes by in a blink.
Somewhere between building in public and posting about building in public, I think we lost the building.
did not in my wildest dreams think that starting a business also meant becoming a part time content creator
having a competitor in the space should never deter you from building, in fact it helps:
you don't need to prove the market exists.
Uber and Lyft both exist and I genuinely cannot tell you the difference other than the color.
It feels like LinkedIn has become so diluted in the content it distributes
Why is short form content needed on a professional social media platform?
Who wants to pay $50/month for 5 messages?
Thought about what it would take to make a new platform that’s focused solely on what LinkedIn was intended to be:
Came to the conclusion that distribution is their moat, nothing about how the product operates in its own.
always found it a little crazy how we just add/subtract an hour to our day.
makes you think how relative time is.
I’m planning on attending more networking events in NYC,
Best way to get investors and customers early on is to talk to them.
I think I need to start wearing InteractiveDox branded clothing,
Best way for ppl to wonder:
“What the hell is that”
Natural engagement ✅
new challenge for anyone watching the financial news:
see if you can go 60 seconds without hearing the word AI.
i love Apple, i really do. I upgrade my iPhone almost every year (i swear).
but how did we go from Steve Jobs saying that Macbooks will never have touch screens to Apple unveiling a $3,000 touch screen Mac 15 years later.
here's my post that's going to attract the most attention and responses:

as I continue to grind being a founder, I've found that I relate most to Dory.
just like dory, I also need to just keep swimming.
with Anthropic's imminent IPO, Blackstone just said it wouldn't give the AI giant an investment grade rating.
Instead, it'll be rated:
high junk.
