In 2007, Daso Franke released a 12" for Ghostly's Spectral Sound. The A-side, "Meine," was an 8-minute ascent that delighted clubs worldwide. In April of 2018, Franke passed away after a long bout with cancer. Earlier this year, @residentadvisor called "Meine" one of the best songs of the century. As the feature recalls, "In the final moments of his life, Daso's friends played 'Meine' from a stereo in the corner of his hospital room." In response to fan demand and high Discogs prices, we're bringing the EP back again on clear vinyl to honor Daso's musical legacy. Link in bio.

Welcoming Nabihah Iqbal with her new single, "Heaven Can Wait" "a floaty New Wave ode to friendship, and summers spent in New York City and London. “Friends are a feeling / Joy is a place,” she sings, a warm sentiment needed in these cooling months." - @thefader

Sylvie's New Season arrives November 6th. The Los Angeles-based artist starts anew, leading a rotating cast of collaborators through golden-hued material that suits the season. The music evokes Laurel Canyon's spirit and Nashville's songwriting tradition, all given a contemporary sheen.

"His sound, these songs, are crucial threads in music culture now as he has had a hand in crafting one of 2020s very specific sounds, a hazy dream pop where one’s head is in rumbly clouds." @1234KYLE5678 on Bullion, link below.

SV: It is funny how technology changes, but good is still good, right? LH: Yeah, it’s just like it’s like food. I mean, you could come up with all the recipes, but the basic ingredients are still, you know, the same. So that’s where the creativity comes in, mixing them together in different ways.

You can never see the bottom of a Bullion song, even though the water is crystal clear. A carp swims by, some bubbles rise.
