Adding onto this, EVERY Fusion should name at least 1 specific material and some archetypes (E Hero specifically) should have way more fusions that demand ONLY specifically named materials.

Yugioh hot take Deck fusions are one of THE biggest mistakes in yugioh card design that has irreparably ruined how konami designs fusion archetypes and as a result fusion decks are consistently boring to play with AND against. (Honorary deck fusion archetype tearlament included)

I feel kinda bad, a lot of points here are genuinely decent but then end up ruined later and honestly she makes more points about why ORAS is a bad remake compared to HGSS being good games and it feels like the scripting on this was pretty rushed

Not a johto fan here, gyms/34/champ have bad teams/movesets, quite a few gyms/general trainers are underleveled, TMs are pretty ass. But grinding? I've never had an issue with Johto grinding, as long as you actually fight trainers you'll be fine until the league which is normal?

People calling red-eyes fusion bad and saying it "shouldn't be here" need to re-read the post. They've designed a bunch of red-eyes support since REF, including searchers for it, but the deck will always suck because the deck fusion has insane locks tied to an insane effect
