🇺🇦🇷🇺 RUSSIA IS OUTRAGED UKRAINE STRUCK A MILITARY FACTORY AT 6 PM, JUST AS WORKERS WERE GOING HOME
A Russian governor has accused Ukraine of “particular cynicism” for striking a military-industrial facility in Oryol at approximately 6 PM, when employees were finishing their shifts.
Apparently, Moscow believes its war industry should enjoy the protection of ordinary business hours.
The October 23 attack targeted JSC Proton, a facility reportedly involved in manufacturing electronic components for Russian military systems, including Iskander ballistic missiles and Pantsir air defence systems.
According to accounts of the operation, four British-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles arrived shortly after workers began leaving. A production workshop and an administrative building were struck, with subsequent footage showing extensive fires at the facility. The precise damage and number of missiles involved have not been independently established.
Ukrainian intelligence has also identified foreign industrial equipment allegedly used in Proton's production processes, including machinery associated with South Korea's Hanwha and Japan's Sodick. The reported presence of such equipment raises questions about how Russia continues obtaining advanced manufacturing capabilities despite international restrictions.
Russian military commentators were particularly frustrated by the performance of local air defences.
The pro-war commentator Kotenok suggested that the missiles had approached along routes already familiar from previous Ukrainian drone operations. Defenders had assumed their existing coverage would be sufficient.
That assumption appears to have been misplaced.
Meanwhile, the Russian aviation channel Fighterbomber praised local air defence personnel while reminding readers that publishing photographs of damaged military facilities could carry criminal consequences.
The contrast was difficult to miss: praise for the defenders, accompanied by warnings not to show what happened.
The Oryol strike formed part of a much broader series of reported Ukrainian operations against Russian infrastructure.
Accounts described hundreds of drones operating across 21 Russian regions, an attack on the Azot chemical facility in the Urals, and a strike against electrical infrastructure near Taman that reportedly disrupted power supplies to occupied Crimea.
Russian facilities increasingly distant from the Ukrainian border are being forced to confront a threat once largely associated with the immediate front line.
Even Russian administrative infrastructure is adapting. Reports described anti-drone netting being installed around a major Federal Tax Service data centre hundreds of kilometres from Ukraine.
The strategic problem for Moscow is cumulative. Protecting factories, refineries, substations, military installations and logistical infrastructure across such an enormous country requires air defence resources that cannot be concentrated everywhere simultaneously.
Each successful strike also creates additional costs through repairs, interrupted production and the need to strengthen protection around previously secure facilities.
There were other reminders of how far the war's consequences have spread. Separate accounts described diplomatic expulsions involving Russia in Austria and Moldova, while Russian military commentators continued questioning the effectiveness of their country's defensive preparations.
Yet amid the destruction, one development carried an entirely different emotional weight.
Ukraine reported the return of 270 prisoners, including five men who had previously been listed as dead.
Among those returning was Yevhenii, a Ukrainian marine musician who had spent four and a half years in captivity in Mordovia.
After finally returning home, he sang the words he had carried with him throughout his imprisonment:
“Mordovia, farewell! Ukraine, meet me!”
For all the arguments over missiles, factories and military infrastructure, that moment captured something the battlefield statistics cannot.
Behind every exchange of fire are people who have spent years waiting to see their families again.
And while Russian officials complain about the timing of attacks on facilities supporting their military, Ukrainian families are still living with the consequences of a war Moscow chose to launch.

Vivek just released a new ad with Acton’s estranged mother that cut out the part where she claimed Acton lied about living in a tent after proof came out that she did live in a tent, so basically the bitter old hag is now just saying Acton lied at 12 about being sexually abused.

Before he sang “You’re Beautiful,” James Blunt says he was ordered to overpower 200 Russian soldiers at an airport in Kosovo.
He questioned the order. Then a British general came on the radio.
It was June 1999. Blunt was 25, serving as a British Army officer near the front of a NATO force advancing toward Pristina airport. Russian troops had arrived first.
According to Blunt, they pointed their weapons at his men and warned them against entering.
The instruction he says came down from NATO commander General Wesley Clark was to “overrun and overpower the Russians.”
Blunt had armed troops behind him. The Russians were standing in front of them. Carrying out the order risked turning a dispute over an airport into a direct military confrontation.
He began questioning the instructions.
Then General Mike Jackson intervened.
At the Oxford Union, Blunt recalled Jackson’s words:
“I will not have my soldiers be responsible for starting World War III.”
The troops pulled back and surrounded the airfield.
Blunt says that two days later, the Russians asked to share their food and water. The British response was that they could share supplies if the Russians shared access to the airport.
The wider standoff still required negotiations. It would be misleading to say one young officer settled the entire crisis himself.
But listen to how Blunt tells the story.
He calls it the moment of his life he would most like to be remembered for. Then, after describing the confrontation, he makes a point of giving Jackson the credit.
The famous singer is telling the audience to remember someone else’s name.

Obama: "The guy has become billions of dollars wealthier in office. Nobody disputes this! It's just -- how do you do that when you're supposed to be looking out for you? And the worst part of it not a single Republican in Congress has done anything to stop it."

I saw no women being assaulted. I saw no nose picking. I saw no ear wax eating. I heard no stories about men’s asses. I heard no strange burping noises, no slurring, no moaning.
And I heard no songs about homosexual hook ups at the local gym while an old fat man wearing makeup danced like he was wanking 2 giraffes.
I didn’t see or hear any of that during Barack Obama’s speeches today.
Just an adult speaking in complete sentences to an audience who appreciated every word.
It was nice.

Trump swaggered into Georgia right before the midterms, breathlessly announcing a huge new Audi factory, a massive win for the state he claimed. Here's the receipt: Audi had absolutely no such announcement, no plans to build a plant in Georgia, and no knowledge of this supposed commitment. This wasn't just campaign exaggeration; it was a bald-faced fabrication, invented out of thin air just days before an election, banking on voters not checking if a major international corporation actually agreed to a multi-billion dollar investment during a political rally. It perfectly illustrates how quickly reality gets benched for a headline grab, promising prosperity that only exists in a speech bubble, all while the people who supposedly value "truth" never question the actual facts. thehill.com/homenews/state-w…

BRENNAN: The DOJ lawsuit demands the Alaska result not be certified if voters are confused. The confusion is defined as Sen. Sullivan not winning.
BLANCHE: That's not what it says
BRENNAN: I'm quoting from it. You are telling them not to certify it. What right does the federal government have telling a state not to certify?

So after all that, Vivek seems to be pulling the Acton ad with her estranged mother. Truly one of the dumbest, most desperate fucking things I’ve ever seen a campaign do.
TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

HUGE: President Obama has endorsed Dr. Amy Acton for governor of Ohio.
“Amy understands that leaders should solve problems, not create them.
Amy Acton will be the governor that Ohio needs.”
