The New York Times breaks the story that in March 2000, a group of Austrian art students called “Gelitin” secretly installed a balcony on the 91st floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. They photographed the balcony by helicopter, and then dismantled it. The ease by which the students were able to make structural changes to the building without anyone noticing brings into question the security measures at the WTC.
