This game shows the difference hitting and missing on the portal makes. Kentucky nailed their portal additions. Big time offensive line, QB, and some skill talent. Vandy whiffed on the portal additions. And Steve Gregory is the DC
At least 3 times this game, Kentucky has come to the line quickly, snapped it, and we aren’t anywhere near ready to play the play. Steven Gregory is such an unmitigated disaster. I don’t know how he has a job.
Late over the middle is never a good idea. We simply refuse to run the ball between the tackles. We’ve only done it two times in this game with the running backs.
We may or may not win this game, but we have the real deal at QB. The next few years are going to be fun on offense
Not being able to get pressure on the QB without blitzing is a major problem. Only rush 4, the QB has all day to throw. Rush 5 or 6, then you have coverage issues in the back end. We need to upgrade the DL in a BIG way in the offseason
The 1989-1990 LSU team with Chris Jackson (best college player I’ve ever seen), Shaquille O’Neal, Stanley Roberts, Vernel Singleton etc was the best team I’ve seen play college basketball. They were awesome!
