“Human Handcuffs”
When a company or organisation is unable to implement or utilise ai to its full potential because they need to keep the peace with their current human team.
- developers proving their relevance and slowing progress. “I need to manually review every PR”
- team leads that can’t implement an ai system because it would remove work from existing team members and make them redundant.
- roles that were specialisms becoming trivial prompts any team member can now ask.
Dear @elonmusk please sell these for @Tesla_Optimus
This is how I want to travel.
Stocks on chain = crowd sourced activist investors.
Thousands or millions of individuals buy into a smart contract that buys an onchain stock.
The smart contract has a goal...
- Vote in a certain way with the stock voting rights.
- Lock up the shares until X event.
- Perhaps the smart contract buys two stocks with the goal of owing X amount and forcing a merger.
All kind of weird stuff happens. Pooling the resources of individual investors around ideas/themes. Without needing to rely on trust that each individual investor will stick to the plan.
Or is it no different to individual voting rights in the old system? It's close, but there's definitely novel things that could be done that we've not seen before.
Fascinating watching the waves of outbid.lol copycats. Each one gives more power to the original. Software as memes.
In a world with no moats, being the original counts.
How long until these have humanoid soldiers in them?
15 mins to have robo-soldiers anywhere on earth. 🤖🌍
Introducing Rook by @Hop_Aero (YC S26): an autonomous hypersonic cargo rocket that delivers 550 lbs up to 450 miles in ~15 minutes.
It launches from a standard 40-foot shipping container and lands on unprepared surfaces—no runways or fixed infrastructure required.
