You just can’t miss with this cast! Tasha Smith is set to direct a new original comedy starring: Whoopi Goldberg, Jenifer Lewis, Vanessa Williams, and Vivica A. Fox.
WOMEN LIKE US follows a recently widowed woman whose lifelong best friends and sister whisk her away to the Hamptons on what should’ve been her 30th wedding anniversary. What starts as a getaway becomes a heartfelt journey through grief, friendship, love, and the reminder that it’s never too late to chase the dreams you want.
The screenplay comes from Ali Kinney with writing from Tracy Oliver. The film is produced by MACRO FILM and Higher Ground with Michelle Obama serving as an executive producer.

Lost our home.
Lost our badge.
Lost our identity.
And for what?
For the soul to be sucked from this football club and relegation.
We were promised a world class football stadium and a world class football team.
We got neither.
Sold a dream. Delivered a nightmare.

A lifetime artist. An actor who’s given everything to cinema. 73 years in, Delroy Lindo is now an #Oscar nominee. Do you know why this nomination means so much to so many people? Because Lindo did it the right way. He’s been real from the start. This matters a lot. Cinema lives.
