Trump has never been anti-gay. He called gay marriage settled law, pushed to decriminalize homosexuality globally at the UN, and put an openly gay man in a top national security role.
The only people calling him anti-gay are activists who lump gender ideology in with normal gay men building a home together. Being gay means men who love men. Everything else is an activist agenda he was right to reject.
